Perhaps this is the reason it was never worn.
Maybe they were never worn out because nobody else could fit in them?
That is a really odd size.
I am 6’3” and have a 32 inch inseam. I might actually be closer to 31” but that is not a common size.
I was a college hurdler and later learned that the typical or best size for one is 6’ 2” with a 31 inch inseam. That size typically runs perfectly between hurdles without having to over or under stride.
Same here, 6’3” with a 32” inseam and 38” waist.
They used to call it being “tall waisted” and find it difficult to find Jeans that have a higher waist.
Most are too low cut for me.
Exactly my problem, Many years ago when I was an investigator. I had contact with a Black guy who was a tailor.
We were just shooting the breeze and he mentioned that I needed to buy my pants with a high rise. Most off the rack clothes don’t list the rise but some do.
I’m like a John Deere.
4030.
What was a 124-year-old sans pants doing in a cedar chest?
If you were 30/30 you would be a Bullet. LOL
I wear 501’s myself, the only ones that fit me. Others are too tight through the seat and inseam. Quality has gone downhill, though. I’ve got some really old pairs that I stopped wearing because the crotch wore thin, that I keep for yard work. Newer pairs bust out the button eyelets before they even get all that faded. Sizing isn’t all that accurate, either. I’m a pretty common size, 34/34. You’d think they’d get that right or close to it, but I can’t buy them without trying them on first anymore.
Hoss Cartright????
Well??? Low rise, high rise? Button fly? Zipper? Bootcut? Slim fit? Skinny fit? Cropped? Distressed? Acid washed?
Hey! My boys are like you! My 19 year old is a 28 waist, 34 length.
Try LL Bean.
They have great selection of jeans and are not on the pro rainbow agenda like Levi’s.
Actually just the opposite with me. My legs are a little short for my height.
“I bet even after all these years its more durable than the crap Levis makes now.”
I was in WalMart the other day. The line of Levi’s they carries (”distressed” I guess) looked like a sterno bum had been living in them. I threw out jeans when they got that nasty-looking.
I remember the heavy rigid jeans. To wear them until they had holes in them took a while. People who get them like that “off the rack” are poseurs.
You can get regular levies ... duh
My levies are not crap.
I have, their khakis and cargo pants are great but the jeans don’t work for me
