I don’t care one way or the other which sect or sub-sect of Islam has the upper hand on any particular day in any particular patch of ground in their own lands.
We should leave them to their own ends.
My concern is that no American dies or is maimed fighting for team Sunni or team Shia (or any of their many sub-sets).
Unless you are an American who is Muslim of one flavor or another, we don’t have a side to back.
Just wait until Blacklisted hears that the security force that Obama and Hillary had at the Benghazi “consulate” was Al-Qeada.
And that the Benghazi site was running weapons to the “Syrian rebels” whom we also know as Al-Qeada, or their modern name “ISIS”.

Sunnis and Shias (and all their various subsets) have never ever gotten along and lived in peace except for very short periods of time under strongmen dictators. Even then it was not peaceful by Western standards.

“ISIS”, or what was known then as the government of the Socialist Republic of Iraq, did 9/11 because they wanted the USA to invade with ground troops figuring it was the only way to defeat us since they weren't having much luck trying to fight are boots-in-the-air at 30,000 feet at the time.

I've just never seen any evidence that they can. They kill each other more than they kill us.

Muslims can’t even live in peace with other Muslims. All four of the first four “rightly guided caliphs” were killed by other Muslims. Aisha(mohammed’s favorite wife, the one he married at 6) and Ali(his favorite son-in-law) fought a war against each other called the War of the Camel. This would be like the Virgin Mary and St. Peter fighting a war against each other.
From the very start all the Muslims have done is fight against each other. It’s all they do.

Where do you get this stuff? The shiite Popular Mobilization Units have done very little fighting. Almost all of the recent fighting against ISIS gets done by the non sectarian Counter Terrorism Service which was created by the US, not Iran. We created the CTS training and fighting methods just for fighting ISIS and we supervise the training and operation of the unit. The one Iraqi unit which is any good against ISIS was started by America, not Iran.

And why isn’t ISIS going after Israel? ISIS was created and is funded and armed by the western globalist powers including Saudi Arabia and Israel.
If you are going to shill for countries at war with America, you clearly lack the decency to do an iota of research. Groups affiliated with ISIL have rocketed Israel from Gaza, and ISIL has attacked Israel from Syria and there was retaliation. Meanwhile, Israel threatened direct action if ISIL did anything against Jordan.
ISIL, formerly Al Qaeda in Iraq has gotten no direct aid from America or Israel. It did get aid from Syria and Iran, 10 years ago, when they were killing Americans. Not that pro-Iran traitors would care to notice.
