I want government out of health care.

I’m not backing a big government health care plan on the order of Obamacare, even if it has been tweaked.

Outside of Medicare and MediCaid, government needs to be out of health care.

If he can provide tax breaks to help cover insurance premiums, I’m all for it. If he can free up insurance companies to operate nationwide, I’m all for it.

That’s it. Nothing more.

This Ryan bill is just sloppy.

They are taking the worst parts of Obamacare (minus a couple of things) and passing it.

There’s no savings benefit.

Delusional; it's now or never time for repealing Obamacare. We are more likely going to Single Payer if this fails. The freedom caucus has at most 40 votes out of 435, just about equal to the congressional black caucus.

Part of Phase 2 is clean tax reform which includes measures that address the bill (like HSAs). And we need clean tax reform to pass a clean budget. But we can’t have clean tax reform without a repeal/replace plan. One builds on the other. Once we pass a bill onto the Senate we can beat it up any way we want as long as we do it under reconcilliation. I think the buzzword is ‘concurrent amending’.

Or we can just tell the House they might as well leave and go on spring recess and campaign season now, because, after 6 years of whining and moaning, we got nothing.

This could easily be done by VP Pence. Under reconciliation, VP Pence can control the rules in the Senate.

He should because he's a Kenyan. His grandmother said he was born in Kenya, his brother said he was born in Kenya and Obama himself said he was born in Kenya. How do we know this? Because he told people at Harvard he was born in Kenya. Where else would they get this information but from him? My mother was born in Scotland, I was born in New York. I'm 55, never in my life has someone assumed I was born in Scotland also. Why? Because I never said I was. On the other hand people assumed Obama was born in Kenya because HE said he was!
