Chelsea Clinton is set to receive a Lifetime Impact award from Variety magazine and Lifetime next month, though it is unclear why.

The former first daughter will be honored at a “Power of Women” luncheon on April 21, Variety announced. Jessica Chastain, Gayle King, Blake Lively, Audra McDonald and Shari Redstone will also receive the awards.

Clinton, a 37-year-old mother of two, is receiving the award “for her work with Alliance for a Healthier Generation, which empowers kids to develop lifelong healthy habits,” Variety says in a statement.

The Alliance for a Healthier Generation, which helps fight childhood obesity, is affiliated with the Clinton Foundation, where Clinton serves as vice chair.

Clinton’s other achievements include being born to one of the most skilled politicians in American history, growing up in the White House, landing a $600,000 contract with MSNBC, marrying a hedge fund millionaire, and tweeting constantly about President Trump.

Honored for the most income with the least amount of work.

Since when has 37 years old been considered a lifetime?

When did the Chelsea Hubble....oops I mean Chelsea Clinton finish college?

Perhaps I am wrong, but I thought she got 600k job right out of college to be a reporter?

How can she receive a “lifetime” achievement award when she’s still alive? She’s not lived her “lifetime” yet. Sort of the joke my dad told me about asking this old guy if he’s lived all his life in this one town and he replied “Nope, not yet”.

Jessica Chastain, Gayle King, Blake Lively, Audra McDonald and Shari Redstone will also receive the awards.

I don't know who these others are, but I'm sure they actually did something useful other than being born with a Clinton moniker..............ohh! did I say 'Moniker'?..............

Haha…Hillary should have gotten it for hitting the ground next to her limo at the 9/11 ceremony last year.

Old scam. The magazine get to stamp the wall with its logo wallpaper, put Chelsea in front of it and start taking publicity photos. The problem is that Chelsea is not very photogenic and won’t boost circulation for the magazine.

Can we assume Chelsea will get the Nobel Peace Prize next? She’s done as much as Obama did when he got his... fair is fair, right?

This year, they consulted the Nobel Peace Prize committee on the proper way to select winners. It was previously thought that the name of the award should have something to do with the qualifications for receiving the award.

I guess they couldn’t find anyone else who wanted their “award”.

Why is she getting all of these awards lately. In fact they are awards that the average peasant would never been in contention for.

I think they are giving them to her, so that she can boast about them as accomplishments when she runs for office.

Chelsea Clinton was in the movie “Beavis and Butt-Head Do America.” Yes, it was only a cartoon version of her. But that shouldn’t matter. Chelsea should be given an Oscar to go along with her many other awards.

...though it is unclear why.

Hmmm...just WHAT could the reason be? I'm stumped, don't have a clue.

This is not mine.I am just helping the word: She ended child obesity in Haiti. And to show their gratitude, the children of Haiti bought her wedding dress and paid for her honeymoon. So yes, she id a chip off her mother's block. Her Father, Webster, not so much. He is just your ordinary run of the mill crook. Not some no hearted, conniving, lying, power hungry thief with no soul that her mother and her husband are.

I got into an argument with a lib on Facebook just the other day about this very thing: How the left hijacks these awards and uses it solely to further their agenda, that the “award” becomes meaningless and the lefts agenda is pushed to the forefront and here is yet another example. Whether they are giving Chelsea - who is the spawn of satan - this award solely to garner favor with satan, or they are giving her this award to polish her image for public office, the award is absolute BS.

Chelsea is currently being set up in many quarters for an enhanced personal resume which will be used when she runs for public office, probably senator, in the near future.

In this day of "fake news", why not "fake resumes"?
