Yep. Liberals believe that gun control and not Muslim control is the answer.

Even taking the Islamic terror equation out, the “part and parcel” comment about citizens is shocking. I don’t even know if New York’s De Blasio would say something so callous. That being said, Londoners are deemed expendable according to this piece of shite. This is just the beginning for all cities of Europe.

...and NONE OF THEM ever had a terrorist attack (Mooslim or otherwise)...

This could be true but using China as an example in this discussion is unfair. After all,North Korea is also absolutely free of terror attacks.

My mention of Tokyo is,IMO,more pertinent because Japan, like Britain, the US and many other countries,is an advanced, prosperous and democratic nation...very much unlike China and North Korea.

IMO Japan is terrorism-free simply because they, unlike many "civilized" countries, don't let moslem foreigners in and,one could suspect, they keep a close eye on their handful of home grown ones.

Agree on Japan. They decided that they will take their demographic challenge (i.e., hugely declining native birth rate) WITHOUT importing a bunch of Terrorists or other Third World types.

And so far it is working out GREAT for them...which is why the media never bothers to discuss it. They are using their awesome technology to make up for their human shortages - they already have robots doing stuff that we can’t even imagine being done (like taking care of old people).

Japan (and countries like China) may well be the last ones standing after this HORRIBLE ‘social experiment’ is concluded.

In what way do they take care of old people?

That saddens me.

Not sure, but they are doing that...and moving more and more in that direction, as in humanoid-looking types.

But even so, it’s difficult to support the alternative, which would be more kids (through some heavy-handed method of government) and/or shorter lifespans (Ezekiel Emanuels simply don’t exist there).

...or, of course, some type of immigration, none of which would beneficial.

Khan did not say that terrorism was part and parcel of living in a modern city. His actual words (when interviewed in New York in September 2016 after the Manhattan trash bin bombs) were as follows:

"Part and parcel of living in a great global city is you’ve got to be prepared for these things, you’ve got to be vigilant, you’ve got to support the police doing an incredibly hard job..."

Now I've not the slightest interest in defending Khan, but it's difficult to see anything callous (deliberate or not) in that comment, which seems simply to state the obvious.

Here are Kahn's heart-felt, moving comments from yesterday:

London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, who has bumped heads with Trump in the past over the issue of radical Jihadists and terrorism, has issued the following statement:

"There has been a serious incident near to Parliament Square this afternoon which is being treated as a terrorist attack until the police know otherwise."

(In other words, the "incident" WASN'T a terrorist attack, which the police will eventually come to understand.)

"I have spoken to the Acting Commissioner. The Metropolitan Police Service is dealing with the incident and an urgent investigation is underway. My thoughts are with those affected and their families.

The "affected" families. Isn't that nice. You lose a loved one and you are "affected."

And of course the "affected" also include those close to the murderous scum who carried out the "incident".

Indeed they are probably "affected" more than anyone, at least in the Mayor's eyes.

Obama himself couldn't have parsed it better.

Just curious....how close did this guy get yesterday to your Prime Minister? Your Defense Minister? Your Home Secretary? Is keys government officials being endangered in this way just another one of the things that one must expect in the hurly burly of big city life?

Sadiq Khan this morning:

There will be a candlelit vigil in Trafalgar Square from 6pm this evening - Thursday 23 March.

The Mayor invites all Londoners – and everyone visiting our city - to come together in solidarity to remember those who have lost their lives, to express sympathy with their families and loved ones and to show the world that we are more committed than ever to the values that we hold dear – that we remain united and open.

London is the greatest city in the world. We will never be cowed by terrorism. We stand together, in the face of those who seek to harm us and destroy our way of life. We always have, and we always will.

Isn’t that wonderful.

Took him only twenty-four hours to be cowed into faking sympathy.

Obama used to have to do the same thing.

You miss him too, don’t you?
