As the rest of the Morning Joe panel remained in three-alarm, apocalyptic mode this morning, there was one lonely voice bringing some balance to the discussion.
MSNBC analyst Mark Halperin said it was completely improper of FBI Director James Comey to have revealed the existence of an ongoing investigation into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia. Rejecting Mika Brzezinskis suggestion that Comey was compelled to make the revelation, Halperin added that Comey says the standard is, if the public is interested in something, Ill reveal an ongoing probe. Ive never heard of this standard. I think its a dangerous one to set.

He will never be on Mika’s show again.
Surprising: Mark Halperin says it was “completely improper” of Comey to reveal investigation.
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Shut up, Mika. It’s the adults’ job to tell you what to think.
Comey has no credibility on either side. He will resign in disgrace. What a tool....FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Isn’t Fox&Friends biased the other way? I haven’t watched F&F much, but when I’ve seen it, I admit that it seemed like a conservative version of morning CNN or MSNBC show.
Keep in mind that Comey said the DOJ said he could reveal there is an investigation. That way he can finally throw water and say it is nothing. After all the other dopes say there is no evidence of collusion.
So then are the stories in the media about Trump being “wire tapped” true based on Comey’s testimony? The media is being whiplashed on this. Hahahaha
Mmmmm........that IS nice to contemplate....the media being whiplashed.
