Texas A&M University's first openly gay student body president is set to take office next month, marking a milestone for the largest public university in the state.

Bobby Brooks, an economics junior at the flagship campus in College Station, was elected by A&M students as the university's 74th student body president March 9. In an interview published Sunday in The Battalion, the student newspaper, Brooks said he "was fulfilling the dream I had been building since my freshman year," and added he wanted his victory to reflect his readiness to lead.

Oh PLEEEEEASE don’t tell the Aggies about Hook-em-horns. They’ll line up for the thrill of getting hooked!

Which is a funny, but even more it is a sad. Yes, the devil has hijacked pieces of the American soul THAT bad.

But about the rednecks.

Funny story how I came to care. I got an email from Monster from some farm themed insurance company (not Farmers) that wanted to know if I wanted to be an agent (though circumlocuting).

I went to the web site indicated. Job not available.

So I did a little digging and found the email of the author and emailed him. I laid it on the line. I said I had had troubles with another “conservative cause” themed insurance company and I don’t consider it compassion or any such rot when the agent doesn’t even care enough to give a valid job listing, or as in the case of the other company, parked in my neighbor’s marked space leaving my neighbor to bitch at me, or forgot an important promise he made on the phone.

I let it hang out. I said I wrote the redneck song.

Well I might as well have shot the guy with a howitzer. He was nowhere to be found after that. Called up... no answer.

WHERE ARE ALL THE STAND UP PEOPLE?!?!?

Come on, rednecks. We need you. Don’t shy away at your own names!

Since the democRATS are so consumed with sex, how about the next student body prez, or councilman announce that their platform will include lower taxes, a strong defense, and the personal heterosexual goal of sleeping with more blond bombshells than the total amount of cheating on his wife Magic Johnson accomplished. I will never forget, when he announced his infection, that he actually went on talk shows, supposedly to ‘spread awareness.’ He bragged and bragged about all the thousands of women he had sex with, and the thousands more waiting outside the gym each day (as if those thousands of cheats on his wife were alright). No one will ask how many times did he give someone else aids. Later in one interview, the host asked if he only bedded women (insinuating a homosexual hint) and Mr. Johnson became even more animated, insisting that it was ‘only’ thousands of women, as if that also made all that cheating alright. Every time he is on TV I scream at the screen ‘how’s your wife?’

I have a similar situation with a former congressman from Georgia - I’ll be first found somewhere around page 1,534 or so. :=)

Brooks won 4,214 votes in February elections – coming in second to a candidate later disqualified from an expense report violation. A governing student body upheld that decision earlier this month, allowing Brooks to serve as president.

So, there’s that. Came in 2nd by over 700 votes; the 3rd place guy had over 3,000..there were several others.

fulfilling the dream I had been building since my freshman year

I remember the one and only dream I spent years building toward in college: getting an education that would support a job. My goal was to be a statistician or pollster. I went to the very best "elite" school for that purpose and worked very hard on my education. Student government? I did that too, almost on a whim (okay, a VERY cute girl asked me to run with her), but the dream was being productive and not some pathetic power over trivia.

Mrs. Bill ran some 800,000 behind in TX, but she ran big margins in Houston, Dallas, El Paso, San Antonio, Austin, and the Rio Grande Valley. Demographics is destiny in TX too!

Dictatorship of the left, soon to follow. When queers get power, the pinko-boot soon follows

The Nazis began as a Homosexual club. (I am not kidding about this.) Two different examples in the bible illustrate the totalitarian nature of Homosexuals when they become open in a society. Both resulted in utter destruction of everyone associated with them.

Great question. I predict, not long. Maybe ten years. invaded by democrat strategy to relocate to states with lots of ec votes. Plus the immigration problems.. Texas is in a crisis that the Bush folks allowed to go viral.

Wonder if the ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS will come up with a bunch of new Aggie jokes about Texas A&M.

Ah, no. The fags are also taking control of Fayetteville.

***How long before Texas turns blue?***

Depends on how long they can hold their breath while playing “the Slobber Lips Blues” on a meat whistle.

Hopefully there will still be enough TEXANS left to stop this nonsense.

I also went to UT Arlington. The best place for an education out of the three, at least back in the day.
