Can we hope for a huge lawsuit? It couldn't happen to a more deserving county.
I hope there is a lawsuit, and I hope that the individuals responsible for the sanctuary policy can be sued PERSONALLY and not just the county itself.
Mayors, city council members, county commissioners, school board members, etc. should not be able to hide behind some sort of immunity when “acting for the government”. Every official that voted for or chose to support a sanctuary policy should be bankrupted personally by lawsuits instead of passing the cost on to their taxpayers.
