The media are setting up Comey to help them in their attacks on Trump.
Comey did no such thing.
He verified that they have nothing on President Trump.
He and Adm Rodgers both defended their own agencies by testifying that they have no evidence as of yet that anyone in their organizations was responsible for abusing FISA or spying.
So either it was some other agency, i.e. CIA, DIA or Team Obama that broke the law, or some rouge agents in their own organizations were on the hook.
Basically , Comey and Rodgers testified that they were personally clean, Trump was clean and President Obama was clean as far as they could tell.
Next step is unmasking the perps.
He said he saw no evidence. That doesn't necessarily mean it didn't happen.
Either he might not be telling the truth or another agency might have been recording calls.
It's also possible that they listened in to Trump staffers calls to people they were wiretapping.
I don't know what happened, but people who believe something happened aren't going to unbelieve because of anything Comey said, so it's hardly a "gut punch."
Yeah, right...that’s why President Trump has been tweeting part of Comey’s testimony all day long. People are so dumb.
Comey should not only be relieved of that post... he should be investigated.
So, to rephrase that, Comey said; "There was no surveillance of Trump, we have been investigating Trump but we did it without surveillance."
I for one am glad that the FBI has stopped using surveillance to conduct its investigations.

So, where did Flynn’s phone call information come from? I know Flynn isn’t Trump. But I “assume” that the leak on him came from the same investigation.

In all cases, “there is no evidence” should always be replaced with “have received no evidence” or “have seen no evidence”, or some similar phrase indicating the limitations based on your personal, subjective experiences vs. what otherwise would be an omniscience that no one other than the Lord possesses.

It’s all a ruse to keep Comey and his Obama pawns in their positions, and prevent Trump from replacing Comey with his own appointee. See, if they whip up allegations like this immediately after the election and then Trump replaces Comey it would look like he I trying to interfere with an election. Trump should now act swiftly and fire Comey. comey just said no evidence with the vote tampering. Trump should hang his hat on that, and retweet that over the next three weeks. Fire Comey simultaneously while having no more cause to be see as interfering with an election.

As for the Republicans, there was ZERO reason to hold this hearing today except to embarrass and slap President Trump down. I am beyond disgusted with the entire political-media establishment. They are killing this country. Just killing it. And the one man who stands in their way is being hamstrung by the same old establishment games. They are more interested in feathering their own nests than in serving the best interests of this country.

Trump was able to beat them all and become President because he had all of us behind him. Every time they thought they had him, he would have another giant rally and he would win.
He is struggling now because we are his power and we have been sidelined by the media. The story is always Trump, isolated. Never Trump and the Americans.
