(3 1/2 Year Old Article From September 11, 2013) NSA shares raw intelligence including Americans' da

The National Security Agency routinely shares raw intelligence data with Israel without first sifting it to remove information about US citizens, a top-secret document provided to the Guardian by whistleblower Edward Snowden reveals.

Details of the intelligence-sharing agreement are laid out in a memorandum of understanding between the NSA and its Israeli counterpart that shows the US government handed over intercepted communications likely to contain phone calls and emails of American citizens. The agreement places no legally binding limits on the use of the data by the Israelis.

The disclosure that the NSA agreed to provide raw intelligence data to a foreign country contrasts with assurances from the Obama administration that there are rigorous safeguards to protect the privacy of US citizens caught in the dragnet. The intelligence community calls this process "minimization", but the memorandum makes clear that the information shared with the Israelis would be in its pre-minimized state.

The deal was reached in principle in March 2009, according to the undated memorandum, which lays out the ground rules for the intelligence sharing.

The five-page memorandum, termed an agreement between the US and Israeli intelligence agencies "pertaining to the protection of US persons", repeatedly stresses the constitutional rights of Americans to privacy and the need for Israeli intelligence staff to respect these rights.

But this is undermined by the disclosure that Israel is allowed to receive "raw Sigint" – signal intelligence. The memorandum says: "Raw Sigint includes, but is not limited to, unevaluated and unminimized transcripts, gists, facsimiles, telex, voice and Digital Network Intelligence metadata and content."

According to the agreement, the intelligence being shared would not be filtered in advance by NSA analysts to remove US communications. "NSA routinely sends ISNU [the Israeli Sigint National Unit] minimized and unminimized raw collection", it says.

Add another country to the NSA’s inner four (UK, Canada, Oz and New Zealand) that could have had access to Trump’s communications.

I happened to see at least part of this on tv years ago. It's a four-part series with Carl Cameron on Fox and how much Israel collects data and spies on us.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8k43_NKYs50 - Four Part Series Carl Cameron Israeli Spies in U.S.

Fox wiped it out of their archives shortly after they aired it. Very informative combined with what Snowden revealed.

Why do they feel such a strong need to spy so much on America?

Or is it just as much as every country spies on every other country?

Tear every FREAKING spy agency down.

Human adults are like little children. That’s the sad part.

The Snow Man revealed all the dirty dealings the real rulers of this country use to spy on us. Can’t use the data they collect? And don’t think they don’t collect everything they can get their hands on. Give it to our allies, who then give it back to us. Plausible deniability. Lie and say the information didn’t come from CIA or FBI. Time to take the CIA apart brick by brick as JFK said. Remember, there was a program back in the early 80’s that collected every conversation on phones computers etc. that contained certain keywords. Now they have the capacity to collect everything. In 2013, NSA captured over 128 billion conversations (Called “Boundless Informant”), 3 billion of which originated in the US, in one month, one of the things the Snow Man revealed.

Are you upset that Snowden spilled the beans on this?
i.e., all digital raw SigInt given to third party nations?

Why do they feel such a strong need to spy so much on America?

I don't know. Probably several reasons. Some not very pretty. That 60 art students was partly about smuggling Ecstasy into America via Florida. Why would our friend want to do anything detrimental to our country and people?

Or is it just as much as every country spies on every other country?

Not all countries have the means with technology, trusted agents, networks already established. I've concluded that there is an element, don't know what percent, that do not have our best interest at heart; no, they want to take us down but I don't know why. And we take the prize on spying; we are the only country that has a grid of eyes in the sky transmitting information and countless feet on the ground (as you know).

We will never get rid of them now, meaning spies in general. They will just re-emerge as something else.

I was shocked when I read this, and it does come from a site that could be said has an anti-Semitic bias. But the FBI report is genuine, I believe, heavily redacted. You can download the 6 parts at the link. On second thought, maybe you should exercise care as who knows what I may have introduced that could be lurking in my system from that? Now I'm sounding a little paranoid. Still I think you should be careful but the only way to get one from the FBI is FOIA and who wants to do that? A professional would check against one obtained from the source though. The following quote (I don't want to plow through it all again) is from about the 3rd part: I checked a lot of what they say at that site with the report and what was known from the news.

"The FBI presence at the Urban Moving Systems search site drew the attention of the local media and was later reported on both television and in the local press. A former Urban Moving Systems employee later contacted the Newark Division with information indicating that he had quit his employment with Urban Moving Systems due to high amount of anti-American sentiment present among Urban's employees. The former employee stated that an Israeli employee of Urban had even once remarked, 'Give us twenty (20) years and we'll take over your media and destroy your country.'"

There's a lot more about Urban Moving trucks on 911. One or two headed on the MA turnpike spotted south of Boston and one seen appearing lost at Nashua, NH. One returning from a trip to Chicago to move a table and chairs on the road past Shanksville. One truck blown up at 6th and King Streets in NYC (the latter one may not be true, hard to get to the bottom of anything).

That was 17 years ago now.

There are little details in that video I linked to and the report but not enough to connect very many dots.

The link:

http://www.takeourworldback.com/dancingisraelisfbireport.htm

There was a group of art students on the 91st floor of Tower 1 and their curious activities, the ones that are known. They pulled a stunt by installing a crude, hand made wooden balcony out the window after removing the big glass, a fellow photographed from inside standing on it, and was reported by the NYT. Note the date, August 18, 2001. I don't think they ever reported on it again. And all those art students survived but a black one from was it Jamaica? The next floor up, made a bronze statue of himself with little airplanes embedded all over it. The statue survived but he did not. There are or were photographs of it on the web.

http://www.nytimes.com/2001/08/18/nyregion/balcony-scene-unseen-atop-world-episode-trade-center-assumes-mythic-qualities.html

I haven't thought about the above for probably over a year or more, it upsets me, I just get into a loop of facts and disinformation that lead nowhere.

I see the same twisted left ideas taking strong hold there as I do here.

If both countries were chosen Tby God for special reasons, they are both pushing it.

Though I think obama dispelled the idea that Israel controls the USA pretty well.

He did so many anti Israeli things I lost count.

Had an acquaintance a long while ago who told me the Israeli mob has a lot of hands in America, including phone calls from Israel soliciting SS numbers and money from the elderly.

Being as I’m Italian, I’m not in a position to condemn others on that one :)

Yes. I get PO’d when anyone divulges classified info of any level from FOUO to TS SCI. I went from 04/27/1969 when I was shot twice and eventually evacuated out of Vietnam to when I was told our unit and it’s activities were no longer classified TS to say anything. That was over 30 years. All the other men I know did the same. A man is only as good as his word. This rat stinks.

Yes, Obama did anti Israeli things and seemed to favor Muslims. I think there is a strong left wing in Israel, and Obama tried to influence their election. He just didn't like Netanyahu and the right wing if that's what it is.

I can't help wondering though if too many fingers have been pointing at Russia and not enough at Israel re influencing and intercepting elections and communications.

No Italian ever called soliciting money from me that I knew about. Israel probably has all the SS numbers they need anyway.

I think we need to be more careful how we deal with them. That's another mess hard to get to the bottom of. I always tended to side with Israel but that doesn't give them carte blanche to mistreat the Palestinians. Both sides have done some horrible things in their own way, and I just end up getting mad at the futility of it.

Snowden has revealed that our intelligence agencies are controlled by people who lie constantly. Their word means nothing.
