DELPHI, Ind. (WISH) Law enforcement searched the home and property of the man where two teens were found murdered last month.
Ron Logan, who owns the 40-acre Delphi property, was arrested last week on a probation violation after a 2014 OWI charge unrelated to the murders. Hes due in court Monday morning for an evidentiary hearing.

Ping.
I sure hope they are getting close to solving this. My 2 young granddaughters live in Delphi.
They aren’t even allowed to go to the school bus stop by themselves and they live right next to the cop shop
I think this is a huge development.
This story has horrified me to no end. That they caught a picture of someone following them and then that recording....police only released a very small piece of the recording. I read in a news article that the rest of it was something that nightmares were made of (the article’s words). I can only assume it caught all or a large part of whatever happened to the girls. The manner of death has not been revealed.
TY
Prayers that this is solved soon
Yeah. I’ve always figured there was a whole lot more on that recording than they were releasing.
Too bad they didn’t have a better picture to go by. That guy in the picture looks like about 10,000 other guys in the area
I think she took those pictures quickly when he wasn’t looking - he does not appear to know he was being photographed. But yes, I was wishing they were a little clearer. If you have ever been the victim of an attack or a potential attack, you just know that someone wants to hurt you. My heart goes out to these girls because they must have had that feeling of foreboding. My guess is that it was a chance encounter/crime of opportunity type thing.
The FBI is also involved.

Interesting. I see the show a picture of the guy, Ron Logan. I wonder if they are looking for the same clothing shown in the picture of mysterious man the girl took.
That could be. I just get the impression he will be arrested for this very soon.
Also, one photo shows a truck being hauled away. That’s very interesting.
Here is short video interview of Logan from last month http://www.theindychannel.com/news/crime/search-underway-at-home-on-property-where-delphi-teens-abby-libby-found-dead
Thanks. I wonder if he is the man in the photo released by the police.
I would think there is DNA evidence availible that would determine whether he’s guilty.
There was a report that there is some kind of DNA evidence that they are testing. They have been very careful in releasing any details, so they didn’t say what...but sounds like it could be sexual assault. As you can tell, i have been reading every bit of news on this case :(
Well, if you put a brown hoodie and blue jacket and a pair of jeans on Ron Logan, he could pass for the picture taken by the girl on the cellphone. You just cannot tell facial details. But he’s roughly the same shape. That man’s figure wasn’t extremely skinny, not overweight, but was stocky.
I wonder too, though I was surprised at the age (70 plus I guess) of the man hose place is being searched.
Well, for what it is worth, I see a news article today that Ron Logan’s court date (Monday) has been pushed out and that Logan is apparently not cooperating with authorities. His lawyer likely told him not to talk. They also ask people not to jump to conclusions. He does have a son...maybe the mysterious man in the photo is related to Logan if it isn’t Logan himself. Who knows.
Sounds like they are scaling back, or are they trying to convince the murderer they are giving up?
