Just how many spy agencies are there out there? This whole "Global Village" thing is starting to sound like "The Prisoner", with everyone under constant surveillance

This was suggested by Judge Napolitano on Fox News. The “U.S.” did not say it in the first place, and couldn’t (and wouldn’t) be able to assure anyone that it will “not repeat.”

Sean Spicer cited Napolitano in a White House press briefing. If the claim can't be substantiated, or it's not desirable to talk about it in public, Spicer should never have mentioned it in the first place. As it is, it appears we are being forced to swallow our words in front of the world. Not the biggest deal in the world, but not a good look, either.

This is a VERY dangerous situation Obama put us in. He DID use the Brits to spy on Trump. But the GCHQ is basically a subsidiary of our NSA. We pay them $100 million a year. And we share critical intel with them. But that system was critical compromised by Obama’s corrupt move, and now this is a crisis in the system. Reason #938 why Obama belongs in jail.

Table-pounding sometimes works, if a given opponent can be intimidated.

There are 3 other countries that exchange intel. Try them. Also the US helps to pay the lbthq budget for some reason.

Given you joined here mere days before the election, I’ll take what you say with a grain of salt, even though I think the Judge may be blowing smoke.

Weeks after the election? How about before the election?

It is not illegal for another country to listen in on other coutries citizens.
Soooooo...obama asked, and recieved, from the British equivalent of the NSA. M-whatever. all of their surveillance on Trump.
Probably in exchange for the NSA surveillance of who knows who in British Government...PM? the Queen?

“Given you joined here mere days before the election”

My sign up date has nothing to do with this guy making stuff up like the bogus FBI mass resignation story.

“the allegations would not be repeated, “

If they don’t repeat it enough it will go away?

>>Sounds like some people are freaking out because the truth is coming into the light.

Exactly! They all share information and cooperate together.

I am thinking that if the NSA, CIA, etc. collect EVERYTHING, then PDJT should also be able to find out everything he needs to prosecute Obama, Clintons, & Bushes. He should also be able to find out what really happened to Michael Hastings, Andrew Breitbart, and Judge Scalia, for a start. Let American citizens hear how their tax dollars have been spent, paying the global uniparty elites to work their evil for so many years.

No wonder HRC shouted “all our necks will be in nooses” if DJT wins!

Recall if you will the precedent. Enigma was captured and broken down by the brits and we have shared high level stuff for ever since
............................................................
Actually, we owe the Enigma “Capture” to the Polish scientist who smuggled it to the French. The French then passed it to the Brits who ultimately succeeded in decoding it.

“Yes, based on the Snowdon and Vault 7 releases so far, in order to spy on their own citizens without the mess of getting a warrant, the UK and US governments came up with a cleaver plan: We have American’s assigned to GCHQ and they spy on Brits and we have Brits at NSA/CIA who spy on Americans. That way it is “foreign intelligence” that is being collected and not domestic surveillance.”

This crap has to stop.

The report of 16 agencies being granted access to the NSA data suggests to me that all of them need funding, they are each connected at a minimum to both senate and house intel committees, and that access plus power brokers plus funding plus political agenda means the data could have been mined by a huge number of people, for example, John McCain

A newbie spouting off about fake news from the BBC. Here are the following quotes from the article:

“The US has agreed not to repeat claims the UK’s communications intelligence agency wiretapped Donald Trump during the presidential election campaign” Which US official has agreed? If they can't go on file then take that with a fine grain of salt.

And here is another comment from the article:

“No 10 has been assured the accusation would not be repeated, a spokesman for Prime Minister Theresa May said”

Who assured from the US and which spokesperson from the PM office? Again no one on file quoted.

Someone is trying to cover their butts now that the story is out.
