March Missile Madness: Odds Of A North Korean WMD Attack In Next Month Tops 60%
Zero Hedge ^ | 3-10-2017 | Tyler Durden - Marie DuMond

Posted on 03/10/2017 3:58:14 PM PST by blam

Authored by Marie DuMond via Beyond Parallel

A Predata-Beyond Parallel prediction indicates there is a 43% chance of North Korean WMD activity taking place in the next 14 days. In the next 30 days, there is a 62% chance for North Korean WMD activity. Beyond Parallel defines WMD activity as nuclear tests and ballistic missile launches.

As seen below, Predata’s North Korea WMD overview signal captured a notable spike in conversations beginning on March 4, just two days prior to North Korea’s March 6 missile launches, and the signal has remained elevated since. Further, the signal’s 30-day exponential moving average started trending up on March 4, reaching its highest point in the previous 90 days on March 6. These signals indicate there are more March missile tests to come from North Korea.

The underlying signal for this prediction started spiking on February 28, also capturing a notable spike in conversations prior to the March 6 launches, and remaining elevated since. Indeed, the 30-day exponential average for the North Korea WMD missile test signal has been edging up since February 18.

These signal predictions are in line with, and corroborated by, other Beyond Parallel empirical studies of North Korean behavior and events on the Korean peninsula. March 1 kicked off the annual spring joint U.S.-Republic of Korea (ROK) military exercises to which North Korea often issues strong statements and sometimes conducts provocations. Beyond Parallel studies have found that the U.S.-ROK exercises themselves do not provoke North Korea. Rather, it is the state of U.S.-North Korea relations in the 4-8 week window prior to the joint exercise period that serves as the best indicator of North Korean behavior during these annual exercises.

In the off-season, these folks work for a DNC polling company.

The correlation is linked to the size of the fee.

Do I need to fly over there and explain MIRV to the DPRK leadership? Better yet, send a colonel or Navy captain and some staffers. That should quiet them down for a century or two.

“That should quiet them down for a century or two.”

Crazy people do not respond to logic or threats, at least not logically. In this case, actions are the only thing they will understand. I can’t see any elected official ordering a nuclear strike against a power that has not used or threatened the imminent use of nuclear weapons. It would not be a politically viable move for Trump. (Think the liberals are hysterical now?) If they detonate that satellite they have orbiting over us every few hours, and the EMP returns much of the civilian population to the stone age, okay. Maybe. (Let’s hope it takes out either California or New York.)

You might also explain to them the term BUFF, as in the ones Trump just sent to SK.

If the insane nut job in North Korea attacked us or Japan or South Korea it would be a gift. It would then give legitimacy to make every military base and center of government a smoking radioactive death hole of misery and woe.

In 10 or 15 years he might be able to really hurt us. Better now than later.

Kim is certifiably insane. The government of North Korea is unstable to excess. If Kim sees his power in danger or himself I do think he will launch in a final act of madness. It is better to take him out now than later. Later his weapons will be more lethal.

We need to have lasers or EM beams to force the missiles to detonate right on the launchpad. North Korea would kill themselves with their own weapons.

We’ve had weapons like that for decades. And more. Things that would sound like science fiction if someone described them to you. There’s a reason countries talk big but never attack us and the Soviet Union collapsed.

An orbiting, 200 terawatt excimer LASER, will easily burn down any NK missile.

If they use. Hard to say at this point.

You didn’t read this here...

I predict Kim Jung Un will be assassinated within the next 3 months. What happens after that is anyone’s guess. Could be some rogue KJU loyalists at the nuke controls who might just lob a few for the Gipper.

Is the X-37B in orbit still? Unlike 0dunga, I expect Trump to not announce EVERY single move we make in space.

Jimmy Carter got the Nobel peace prize for showing up in North Korea and signing a ‘peace’ deal with the current loons grandfather before Clinton could order the bombing of their ‘peaceful nuclear reactor’ that was only being used to produce electricity.... They promised to not pursue nuclear weapon technology for financial assistance... That worked out swimmingly. North Korea can now obliterate Japan. Thanks Jimmy, another gem in your legacy of appeasement towards murders and madmen.

If they actually do use a nuclear weapon... I hope it’s literally on your head.

So there’s a 100% chance that we’ll unload several hundred megatons on Pyongyang and an assortment of plutonium, cesium, and strontium 90 along NK’s Space Coast? Nifty !!
