OK, FReeper Challenge here. Guess how many paragraphs it took before the Mercury News author blames the rainfall on Global Warming. There are 12 paragraphs in the story. I'm showing Paragraph #2 in the thread body above.

No cheating now!

“ornia storms”? Yikes. What are those?

Mod, can you change title to remove “ornia storms”? Correct title is “Wettest year recorded, so far, in 122 years”

But it was to be a forever drought.

Cause of Global Warming.

But, now I’m sure they now know the wettest year ever was due to global warming.

“We thought it would cause a forever drought but it turns out it caused the most rain ever.”

The murky news would have said it in the very first paragraph....only because they didn’t put it in the subhead

So, as usual, the years before reecord were started don’t count. Then again, how would we know if they were wetter or drier? I wonder what lived where the YUGE redwoods are now before the YUGE redwoods were invented. All I know is that Mt. Rose ski area just south of Reno has the most snow in the states with a total so far of 680 inches for the season. They’re staying open until Memorial day. The other Tahoe area ski resorts also have YUGE snow pack this year and are extending their seasons. We needed it. Well except for the flooding in Lemmon Valley north of town. That sucks

I think they pretty much have all bases covered.

EFFECTS AND CAUSES

California Drought = Man caused global climate change

California Deluge and Flooding = Man caused global climate change

California normal precipitation = Man caused global climate change

God promised never again to destroy the world with water.

I’m guessing that Queerifornia’s blasphemy of God’s promise, the rainbow, negated that promise.

Everything that occurs in the entire world is because of climate change. You know it causes volcanoes, rain, drought, terrorism, conservatism, traffic, poor grades, headache, diarrhea, hurricanes, fire, nausea, murder, heat, cold, moderation, tsunami, origami, salami, stickball, illegal immigration, overcooked food, lack of food, glut of food, Italian food, Clouds, deserts, rainforests, swamps, cow farts, mouse farts, butterfly farts, bacteria farts, and mild depression.

The brain dead Liberals in Sacramento Assembly plus the Moonbeam schmuck have let the water run out to the ocean. They’re too concerned about illegals and social BS to build reservoirs, dams, and anything else to preserve the water. In a month, they will be telling us to conserve and, BTW, there’s a drought tax on your water bills.

Typical Liberal scum spawned in the gutter.

The government of CA had one job during this epic period of wetness -— store as much water as possible —— and they failed.

We have had 41" of rain with normal being 28" behind the Redwood curtain and 99% goes out to sea. This could be a record wet year for this area. I love the irony of this graphic...
