Whose name is next to be added to the notorious list of government leakers?
The CIA is trying to answer that question right now.
A day after WikiLeaks released what it alleged to be the “entire hacking capacity of the CIA,” the focus Wednesday began shifting to just who gave the stunning surveillance information to the anti-secrecy website.
“There is heavy s--- coming down,” said a veteran cyber contractor for the intelligence community who previously worked in the breached unit, the CIA’s Center for Cyber Intelligence.
The contractor told Fox News that CCI has long maintained an internal database of information -- accessible to anyone with proper credentials or security clearance -- that seemed to be dumped in total to WikiLeaks. In its news release on the disclosure, WikiLeaks said CCI had more than 5,000 registered users, a number alternatively referred to as “absurd” and “a bit high” by security experts who spoke to Fox News. The CIA declined comment to Fox News.
The FBI opened a federal criminal investigation into the WikiLeaks disclosure on Wednesday, Fox News confirmed. As the probe gets underway, experts said there’s a typical incident response playbook they would use to narrow down the massive pool of suspects.
“They’re going to try to do some forensic work because those documents probably have been changed [over time], so that enables them to narrow down the period to when they were taken,” said Alex Yampolskiy, the CEO of SecurityScorecard. “Once you say ‘this seems like it was a snapshot from this particular time,’ then they can look at audit logs of who had access to the document during that time frame.”

That’s what I was thinking. “Who leaked this about our crimes?” No outrage at what is being done to the public, even from Fox.
I hope he/she doesn’t get caught.
The CIA/FBI are REALLY worried about this but couldn’t give a #### about Trump being tapped because most are traitors from the obummer era.

This is what happens when a culture of “OK” leaks and “Not OK” leaks is encouraged. Also, it is obvious that there is selective criminal enforcement of the law. Things are really screwed up these days.
It’s been done by 2 Presidents before. It’s time to dissolve the 16 intelligence agencies and create 2 new ones devoid of the corruption and autonomy they are steeped in. Nobody shares info and they are too busy with mischief.
I would suggest merging all 16 into 1 and announcing a six month period for the people to submit their resumes for consideration in the new agency (with separate domestic and international branches).
At the end of the grace period, the deadwood and corrupt people leave and those with approved resumes stay.
The mole hunt just proves that what Wikileaks has is the real deal. Let that really sink in. They are spying on everyone one of us. Every American. I hope they never find who leaked this. I don’t have the words to express how angry I am about this. We live in a total police state.

I remember going to a briefing room in the basement of the CIA HQ shortly after the Aldrich Ames affair was announced. We walked by pallet after pallet of floppy disk drives that had been taken out of computers in the building.
After the French uploaded a Trojan into an F16 on a thumb drive, we could use thumb drives. After B/C Manning used a personal “music” CD to steal his files, we couldn’t take audio CDs out of SCIFs.

Funny that. A day after the Wiki leaks the FBI/CIA is all over this like peanut butter. But what leads do they have on the leaks that are designed to frustrate the Trump Administration?
I have no doubt that the CIA been hugely infiltrated by Islamic sympathizers and lefties these last 8 yes.
