That would be the best outcome. Its basically their responsibility in their own back yard. Trump will throw them a bone and maybe soften a bit on Walmart junk tariffs if they turn P-yang to glass with no ROK or US troops killed. Total win.

Wouldn’t such a move be a declaration of war with Japan and the United States? As the Korean war never ended —we are still at war now—so Trump wouldn’t need a declaration of war. One boomer sub would be enough to take out all of North Korea in 20 minutes. But the Norks might want to try a high impulse nuke over America to take out our power grid first. One strike to end America as a great power and reducer her to say, something like Sweden or England. Even with their best shot—they would be gone—as well as any allies they may have—like Iran.

Nah - China is mad at Kim Jong Un, too. Especially after the Malaysia assassination. His eventual removal will have to be a joint US-SK-China operation. Fortunately, that’s the kind of deal Trump is good at working out.
