I know what you are saying, but we have demanded that our new leadership be honest with the public. I’d say they were being honest.
Whether the public will acknowledge that honesty is another question. The DEMS will still pounce on this, regardless of what Sessions does or says, so I am not going to criticize their remarks.
I think what they did defused the little ‘bomb’ the Dems had.
Again, we differ on the view of the act, and we won’t know whose opinion was correct until we get to see more of the play. So far, it’s like a comedy and tragedy rolled into one.
Sessions is not a “Wartime Consigliere” which is what we need right now.

Exactly it is. That’s why Trump’s team should go on the offensive after something like this. Sessions did nothing wrong - don’t even give them that line (which David Gregory used on CNN saying, “Even the President said...”). Go on the offense. Bring up McCaskill and her lies. Bring up the Democrats who met with Russia for the Iran Deal (a deal Trump derided). Don’t play defense with the media. Go right back on offense.

I suspect they already know who the leakers are. McCain has been outed, they STILL have Obama appointees working in the DJT Administration, etc.
The war is on for our country’s survival as a “free” nation. Overlooking any and all opportunities to purge and prosecute only embolden and strengthen the domestic enemies.
It makes me wonder why....does DJT think he will somehow convince them to unite behind him? That would just be folly, pure folly.

President Trump needs to have AG Sessions instruct the DOJ to investigate whether the CIA and Director Brennan (former communist in college) are involved in coordinated sedition against the Trump Administration...
....And, to issue an Executive Order cancelling the EO issued by O’Commie making CIA domestic disinformation activities legal....
Gotta get back on offense. Duh- Sessions was still a Senator when “meeting” with the Russians. Case closed. Shove that down their throats and move on.
I hear what you are saying, Laz, but it seems to me these are really smart men. Having said that, there is the possibility they are choosing actions that might look bad to us, but are beneficial to them or their plan in the long run.
It’s their show, we are just watching from the sidelines :-)
