The phrase “targeted enforcement” should eventually apply to enforcement actions targeting all illegals. That will take time. First we have to increase the rate of enforcement, then we have to target the worst among them. Then we can widen the scope of the enforcement. That’s just how politics works.
Ypsilanti is 25 miles plus from Dearborn. Ypsilanti is a college town, home to Eastern Michigan University. It’s just as likely to be Chinese students who overstayed their visa as it is Muzzies.

Okay, Central American. Lucky for us they didn’t wander next door into the peoples’ republic of Ann Arbor. We’d never have found ‘em then.
