As Hollywood’s stars deliver their off-the-cuff condemnations of President Donald Trump at Sunday night’s Academy Awards, the president and first lady Melania Trump will be having a ball.
Literally.
Sunday night is the annual Governors Ball, a part of the National Governors Association meetings in Washington.
“Mrs. Trump looks forward to putting on a phenomenal event,” White House press secretary Sean Spicer said Wednesday.

While some folks won’t watch the Oscars due to the likely over the top Trump bashing. That is just icing on the cake of reasons not to watch.
I do not and never have understood the desire of people to watch award shows. Have awards for professional excellence, pass them out, issue a press release stating who won. I prefer not to watch the orgy of self-congratulation that most awards shows have become.
WHEN is it again? I was going to put on calendar: “Miss Oscars, yet again”
Off the cuff?? Puleeeze, they've been preparing their remarks for weeks and practicing in front of mirrors and preparing for their anticipated standing ovations. Liberals will demonstrate their penchant for hate, bullying, and avoidance of debate as they prefer to preach and then hide.
Not really that hard to upstage the Oscars, but I would set and watch Melina dance all night long.

For some of us here in Rio LInda, does this mean he is UPSTAGING th Oscars and drawing attention away from them to the gala event. Seems good by me. Why would we want to watch the Oscars talk about TRUMP, when they should be talking about movies, and other actors. Serves them right.

The guy keeps on winning, not accidental.
They will be assailing President Trump for enforcing our Lawful Immigration Policies.
None of us could just walk in to the Oscars or the After Parties and sample the Food and Drink without an Invitation.
In fact, no Illegal Invaders could just walk in either.
Will the Governor’s Ball be live streamed anywhere? I’d much rather watch people in beautiful clothes dancing than the awards shows!

A big bunch of documented professional liars and con artists getting together, measuring their lying and deceptive successes during the year, and then awarding each other for lying so good.

Sunday night. Hmmm. TWD, TTD and Black Sails. Ain’t got time for any goofy, commie lib shiny objects awards show.
If I were the President, I would take the three worst “spews” coming from the doofuses and reply to them this way :
1> (worst) ... OUCH! That hurt. I’ll try to improve on that.
2> (second worst) ... OUCH! Good one. Sorry you hate me. I loved you in (insert movie title).
3> (third worst) ... Wow! Good insult. Point taken under advisement!
Basically tweet three really benign, simple tweets to the particular scumbag’s worst insults. I suspect they’ll be driven to rage since they want to get a “standard” Trump response.
Of course, once the silliness settles down, raise hell by tweeting something insulting ... remind them that they simply dress up, play pretend, and get handled with kid gloves by a fawning media and public :-).
