Column: Tom Brady Should Challenge Elizabeth Warren for Senate Seat In 2018
Breitbart ^ | 22 Feb 2017 | Dylan Gwinn

Posted on 02/22/2017 10:23:52 AM PST by detective

After supporting friend Donald Trump in his quest to “Make America Great Again,” could the time soon come for President Trump to support his friend Tom Brady in a quest to “Make Massachusetts Great Again?”

If Brady plays things out as laid out by political columnist Peter Lucas of the Lowell Sun, that time could be fast approaching. On the heels of recent polling which suggests that current Bay State Senator Elizabeth Warren’s popularity has taken a hit, Lucas makes the case for sending Mr. Brady to Washington.

Can Senator Brady still win Super bowls?

I’d bet the 98% pay cut would be off-putting. Even more than Lizzy’s face and inherent goofballism.

Remember: There are no rules against insider trading for Senators and Congressmen.

I imagine Tom and his wife have a very large portfolio. And they can probably double it if they know ahead of time which companies will benefit or suffer from upcoming legislation.

It is very early, but, here goes a prediction: Warren will not run for the Senate in 2018.

Why: Her poll numbers will be low, possible loss looming. She will instead declare for the Presidency, saying it would not be fair to the good folks of MA for her to try and run and be a Senator.

Outcome: Look for a Warren-Harris (Kamala) Ticket to be a real possibility for the Dems. An all woman ticket will make the Dems giddy with excitement.

He’s going to be in the list of the NFL’s oldest QBs ever to play when it’s all said and done.

I think Brady still wants to play a couple more years.

Curt Schilling sounds very interested in running. The “bloody sock” would help him.

There are rumors that Mittens is looking at it. I don’t like Mittens and would rather hve Schilling or Brady, but if Mittens wound up being teh nominee, he’d be preferable to Fauxcahontas.

George Blanda played until he was 48 years old.

That’s what I’m saying. He will be in that list. I don’t think it will be that long (Blanda). But he will be up there with Vinny Testaverde, I bet.

George Blanda played until he was 48 years old.

Blanda was just a kicker at the end. The question is Brady's willingness to play at 80% when the drop-off comes, making him still well above average but not best in league. Kinda like where Favre was in the end.

As much as I dislike what American football has become, if I was living in Massachusetts I would vote for Brady. I used to bash him for the whole deflategate thing, but he has more substance than I originally thought.

Belichick is still a douchenozzle.

Brady is 39, and he said he wants to play at least until his mid-forties, then he said he will decide whether to keep going from there.

He once said he will continue playing as long as “I don’t suck.”

I don’t think Mitt is still a MA. resident. Only if you’re a Dem. can you get away with bring a carpetbagger. Schilling has had some questionable business dealing which the Boston Glob will turn into a huge scandal.
