Trump's behavior "terrifying," Congressman Yarmuth says

U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth, D-Louisville, is becoming increasingly alarmed with the actions and words from President Donald Trump.

Kentucky’s lone federally elected Democratic official, who is now the ranking Democrat on the House Budget Committee, summed up Trump’s presidency after a recent press conference in a word as “terrifying.”

“It’s terrifying from a number of perspectives,” he said in an interview with Spectrum News on Monday. “One is he’s incoherent; President Trump literally cannot express a thought that is coherent. Secondly, he says things without any regard to the ramifications of them — all of these statements that involve foreign policy have repercussions around the world.

“You’re beginning to hear now, and I’ve been hearing for some time, how freaked out international leaders are, because they don’t know if what he says should be taken literally true or not,” Yarmuth continued. “Whether that represents an official position or whether in fact he’s just being Donald.”

One is he’s incoherent; President Trump literally cannot express a thought that is coherent.

Unlike Obama, Clinton, Reid, Pelosie and Shummer who are always crystal clear?

Does he have his diaper on? Has he got his ‘binky’? Does he have his color book and crayons? And most important, does he have his ‘teddy bear’ with him???

Sorry Mr. Yarmuth, but your party has been incoherent for decades. If you weren’t so filled with Trump hate you might actually notice that most of the president’s political agenda is the same kind of America First sentiment that used to be the bread and butter of the Democrat Party especially on jobs and foreign aid.

I’m watching 100 days on Fox... the people.. some are so out of it... where are the brains? I guess I have no patience for stupidity.. I don’t even like that word, but can’t find another one. I hope they find some who think like a constitutional conservative, respecting laws.

He may soon be able to.

There’s a movement afoot to have Louisville declared a sanctuary city. It will be interesting to see how the governor responds if the drive gathers momentum.

I am so sick of this. Just STFU Democrats. You had 8 years to create your Utopia and it didn’t happen because it can’t happen.

I come from thinking that you didn’t ask for help from the government... for that was a sure way to be told what to do and how to do it. I also come from a place where no one wanted to be on welfare if there was ANY other way .. find it and live independently of assistance. I come from a place where you didn’t ask parents to pay your way... you get a job, do for yourself.. and live within your means... also, don’t make stupid mistakes that would change your life and keep you from getting ahead.

I know there are those who need help, but today there doesn’t seem to be any hesitation from taking whatever the government has to offer... food stamps... welfare.. anything.. there doesn’t seem to be any stigma to go that route any more...

When immigrants come here and are given all the government has for them.. they must think it’s the norm and they hit the jackpot... and want it to continue all their lives.. even write home to others in their country.. hey, come here... they give you everything.. it must be something that would be hard to give up, when a new President changes what is free.

I just object to giving unlimited help to those who come here and those who live here and still take from the government. The money comes from the working folks... it’s not free!

When immigrants came here years ago, they had to have a job already, a place to stay and a sponsor... it was not a free ride... just since the dems want their votes is it free.

And it isn’t hard hearted to want immigrants to pay their way... no free lunch... they have to work and/or pay for what they need.. otherwise, don’t come.

Soon every lib will say the same thing. When that doesn’t work, they will try something else.
