He may have been a victim of child sex abuse (most gays are) but saying a 13 year old is capable of consent with an adult...that’s a bit much.

He is a libertarian. Legalizing drugs, prostitution, and perhaps dropping all age of consent laws is acceptable to him.

He did not say 13 should be the age of consent. He said that was how old he was when he was first abused.
He said the age of consent in England is 16. He thinks that is about right. His first long term relationship began at 17 and lasted for 10 years.
I don’t like his life style but I really dislike people misconstruing what he said.
I do know he has stated he supports the current age of consent.
Can a thirteen year old consent to sex with an adult (say under 20) maybe not legally but yes some no doubt can. Should it be legal? No.
