Long before Trump even announced his run the American people were disgusted with the press. Perhaps they were and are tired of a group of (not so bright if I may say) elitist snobs who act like they are a co-equal fourth branch of the government? Trump gave voice to the disgust that was ALREADY there. Deal with it Mr. Wallace and examine the real problems rather than circling the wagons in the name of protecting power that NO voter gave you.
Being liberal means you have no core values. You have goals and agendas, but you are not anchored to any real beliefs.
This lack of core values allow feminist to praise Clinton as he molest young interns, or anti-war activist praise Obama as he sends drones out to kill or blacks to attack another black if they step off the reservation.

Hey Chris, maybe if the media reported the news instead of trying to create it the reporters wouldn’t be getting the tongue lashing they deserve. The whole industry thinks they are the chosen ones.

Trump is, when slamming the MSM, what an auto reviewer was in the 70’s, slamming the quality of American cars compared to the Japanese cars starting to flood the market.

Might Jefferson have said it with the Johnson Amendment in place? The battle for our thoughts has been ongoing throughout history. The media, given a gift by President Johnson when he curtailed the churches from speaking politically, was able to make deep inroads into our public thought and action.
The media has been the dictator. The media was very consistent with the statement premised by the words “the American people”. It helped convince so many it was what the American people really wanted.
Once the Johnson Amendment is overturned, big changes in public thought and ambition will come.
