Officials celebrated the ninth anniversary of Kosovo’s independence, while new US President Donald Trump sent a letter offering support for a “sovereign, multiethnic, democratic” Kosovo.
Kosovo officials marked the country’s independence day on Friday with a series of events beginning with a ceremony at the grave of former President Ibrahim Rugova in Pristina.

Kosovo was Serbian, but illegal immigration by Albanians aided by misguided US policy has enabled the Albanians to wrest control of it from Serbia.
Agree, not good. But I doubt Trump has spent more than 30 seconds on Kosovo. Once he does, all will be fine.

Trump was a successful businessman. You can’t really fault him for not being all that interested in foreign affairs. His priorities are clearly dealing with the Chicoms and Mexico. European tribal politics take a back seat to those two issues, IMO.
