“Deep State” and “Vault 7” are not related.

Are those conspiracy keywords that get bandied about to gain attention?

Damned good question. His entire family needs to be taken out of the equation, as well.

One of Bush’s biggest mistakes was keeping anybody from the previous administration, but he was such a fool about “reaching across the aisle”...

...

He wasn’t a fool if he actually wanted to lose to them, which he did.

It does make him a rotten prince of the Uniparty.

Democrats have not been interested in actual “bipartisan cooperation” since the day the ink dried on Alinsk’s book in 1972.

I really advice all FReepers to read the whole piece. You can definitely taste the salt of the flowing tears.

************************************

Wholeheartedly recommend. Here’s a sample:

“That particular incident was disheartening to many State Department officials who hope that Mr. Tillerson - who had a long career as Exxon Mobil’s CEO - will bring his worldly experience and management to a building that has been demoralized by the Trump administration’s antipathy toward multilateralism and cavalier approach to diplomacy.”

The winning is feeling so big after yesterday’s presser, I almost feel like an entitlement grubber. Feeding at the trough of winning.

"“It is irresponsible to let qualified, nonpartisan, experienced people go before you have any idea of their replacement. You can’t do foreign policy by sitting in the White House, just out of your back pocket,” explains Tom Countryman, Former Assistant Secetary for Non-Proliferation who was let go earlier this month.

Drink deeply from the well, my FRiends.

I know, and I now watch the fake news for entertainment, it's bizarre world where reality is replacing Obama as the King with no clothes.

GWB was steadfast in not cleaning house of the disloyal, politicized staff put in by Clinton. Either he was in denial, or stupid, or complicit.

I vote for Complicit.

Countryman worries that the White House is displaying an intent not rely on the State Department for foreign policy in that no one will be in place to challenge the edicts drawn up in the Oval Office.

Quite the point, isn't it. Clod.

Not a single State Department official was included in the White House meetings with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week.

Trump and his team understand the big stuff... they get that right...

The country's going to be just fine - keep draining that swamp.

I’m tired of our country being represented by people who hate Americans too... fire ‘em all. Get the ones with beards out first...

Romanian termination would have been better.

The last paragraph: "R.C. Hammond, a State Department spokesman, did not respond to the specific question of what motivated the layoffs but provided the following statement: “As part of the transition from one administration to the next we continue to build out our team.......” Hammond previously worked for Newt Gingrich and is a new hire at the State Department.

Only one month gone out of 48 and working with less than a full staff, I believe this Presidency is going VERY well. Imagine how effective they are going to be when they are fully staffed and most of the resistance has been removed. May God protect President Trump.

Most will not pass, and those that do can undergo additional scrutiny! Simply look at their voting record! That’s simple!
