Butler County Sheriffs Undercover Regional Narcotics Taskforce arrested two undocumented workers and seized $36,000 worth of methamphetamine Tuesday
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio Butler County Sheriffs Undercover Regional Narcotics Taskforce arrested two undocumented workers and seized $36,000 worth of methamphetamine Tuesday in Middletown.
Its put a hot-button issue front and center again, with Butler Countys sheriff right in the middle of the debate.
The drugs are pouring in from Mexico, and it's poison, it's poisoning our community. I'm not going to put up with it, Sheriff Richard Jones said.
Francisco Torres-Davila and Ramon Sanchez-Reyes both were arrested in Middletown on Valentine's Day with the drugs and $1,000 worth of cash in the back seat of their car.
Disturbing, yes. Upsetting, no. This is something that we're dealing with, Butler County Sheriff Major Mike Craft said.
The BURN Taskforce picked up the men in the Auto Zone parking lot just off Roosevelt Boulevard. Workers told WLWT the suspects just stopped in to buy a tail light and a brake light.
The bust happened just yards from Jenny McCrays backyard.
It does make you kind of wonder and worry a little bit; I do have grandchildren that live here and my older kids. I'm a little fearful for them, McCray said.
Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones has made his stance on immigrants in America illegally very clear.
I send a very strong message: You bring your poison here, you're going to get arrested, we're going to take your cars, we're going to take your drugs, we're going to take your money and you're going to get a little taste of American hospitality. You're going to go to prison, Sheriff Jones said.
Jones said these two arrests are just a preview of what to expect in the coming weeks.
My drug task force has been doing this for quite some time, and there's more to come, Jones said.
The two suspects are locked up tonight in Middletown and are being charged with felony drug trafficking and possession.
Butler Countys BURN Taskforce also arrested four other people in Fairfield just this week who were also arrested for possession of meth and other outstanding warrants.
Has the Dems started crying for his release yet?
Pray America woke
I’m surprised that they didn’t demand to be let out of jail today to celebrate Illegal Aliens Day.
They weren’t undocumented workers, they were obviously undocumented pharmacists./s
Illegal aliens are never identified correctly.
btt same in Memphis.
