Retired Vice Adm. Robert Harward is quickly emerging as a leading contender to replace former national security adviser Mike Flynn, perhaps even the front-runner, according to some sources.
In the wake of Flynn's resignation Monday night, Harward's name entered circulation, along with retired Gen. David Petraeus and retired Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg, who assumed Flynn's job after he resigned.

Before appointing the next candidate, Trump must have the FBI find the leaks that surrounded the Michael Flynn affair. Nothing is more urgent right now. But what will we do with him/her when caught? A slap on the wrist or a simple firing will not suffice.

Won’t matter. The GOPe wanted Flynn out because he was a Trumpist first and foremost. Rinse & Pence appear to be working for them and not Trump, IMO. Whoever Trump now picks for the NSC spot will not have the influence Flynn did as an earlier support of Trump. And that is exactly what the neocons who took down Flynn wanted.

Worse it means the CIA has Trump by the balls and they effectively own the government. If Trump dumps the Muslim ban then we’ll know they’ve effectively in charge and letting endless waves of 3ed worlders is not far behind.
