I’m from NorCal, and for as long as I can remember there has been water wars between the north and the south. The southland has millions and millions of people, many illegals, living in the desert. They’re not all picking crops either.

I agree but that was the tactic used earlier yesterday, and it fits the Democrat model of smoke and mirrors responsibility avoidance. The media will run with it.

Brown has the audacity to ask for federal aid!!!! All they have to do is cut back on spending on sanctuary cities, welfare and education for illegals and ask Meryl Streep and her band of liberals for the money to fix this.

It is time for the federal government to stop writing checks to those who don’t budget properly.

Waste of time. You will never have environmental extremists/Greens ever see reason. They would only be happy is if everyone in California was forced to leave the state and have it all turned into a no-human allowed nature preserve.

This is the same thing Californians did to electricity back during the rolling blackouts when Gray Davis was governor.

Voted to put in no new power plants for decades and then wondered why their electricity rates shot through the ceiling and why they were being ripped off by out-of-state suppliers when their internal system couldn't keep up with the demand. Don't build any new power plants while the population and energy usage skyrocket...guess what happens?

Well, when you have not allowed any new dams to be built for decades and then have a drought, things are hunky-dorey. No problems. But when it starts raining and raining and raining again, where are you going to put all of that water?

Californians need to learn to get out of their own way. Both the electric fiasco and the dam problems are self-inflicted and unforced errors. Just desserts for those who don't understand the concept of taking care of business instead of doing what their environmental and climate change "feelings" lead them to not do.

Get rid of the mass illegal population in the state, dump the bullet train boondoggle get the Hollywierd celebrities and the high-tech billionaires to put their money where their collective mouths are. Use their own money to build some new power plants and repair and build new dams.
