You almost need a completely new definition for insanity. What’s really comical about the polling business overall, is how almost every single media and private poll pegged Trump’s approval in the low to mid 30s before the elections, and his disapproval numbers were almost universally north of 62% and even higher. Hillary consistently polled at least 10 percentage points better on both scores. We all know how that turned out. What the governing coastal elitists simply cannot get through their thick skulls is that you can’t use traditional metrics – like junk polling in this case – to quantify a complete outsider and non-politician like Donald J. Trump. Polls just do not apply to President Trump. Or else, he wouldn’t be president.

If the Trump team has their own polling. they could point out to any skittish Republicans are accurate, given how much on the ball they were with their internal election polling.

Imagine all the wasted energy of these people opposing Trump so fiercely. It's as if they don't realize that Hillary lost fair and square.

Look at the talent that resides in Free Republic. If Trump's team tapped into only 10% of us, we could help fight the mass media and have an impact.
In some ways, Free Republic is too self-reflective. If we organized, a lot could get done.
Consider this: a website that catalogs every single fake news story the MSM creates and rebuffs it.

They will glom on to every little detail that fits their false narrative and then spin it into fake news.
Trump doesn't mind. He even feeds into it at times with his elliptical manner of speaking (he leaves words out--i.e. ellipsis--so the press will draw erroneous conclusions) and his use of hyperbole.
The press, with lots of help from Trump, can't seem to stop marginalizing themselves.
Trump is the wolf the little boy keeps screaming about. The wolf just keeps taunting the little boy, causing the boy to cry until his audience is oblivious to his screams.
