Assaulting a Cabinet officer should get you 10 years at Club Fed.

I hope The Donald has them all arrested, incarcerated and then we lose the keys.

Democrats are showing everyday how vile and disgusting they are. These constant acts of childishness and worse will not be winning new friends in 2018.

I remember back during the campaign - maybe after the Chicago riot at the Trump event - Jeff Sessions saying that the Justice Dept should identify rioters who crossed state lines to do so (out of state rioters), as they could face felony charges. AG Sessions - have at’em. Put them away, make them ineligible for positions of public trust—ever.

It's pretty sad the Secretary of Education can not visit a school.

Agitators blocked traffic the day after the election not knowing which drivers were Trump supporters and which were not or which drivers did not even vote at all. The thugs showed that they are not really interested in politics, they are just people who are mad at the world. Politics is just the excuse they use to express their rage.

These “protesters” are getting out if control. Why won’t the cops do anything?

“when DeVos exited the building, she looked very concerned.”

it was probably from witnessing the behavior of the students at this school.

They were all in the least engaging in disorderly conduct and should have been arrested.

Battery is a harmful or offensive touching of one by another.
There are two types of assault: attempted battery and creating a reasonable apprehension of harm.
The first type, attempted battery is a specific intent whereas the second type is a general intent crime. Thus, they require two different burdens of proof.

Intimidation is intentional behavior that “would cause a person of ordinary sensibilities” fear of injury or harm. It is not necessary to prove that the behavior was so violent as to cause terror or that the victim was actually frightened.

Weird ain’t it, after an 8 year hiatus having laws again?

I call interfering with a person’s right to freedom of movement an assault.

Get rid of the entire Department of Education. Problem solved.

How does that solve the left violently rioting against conservatives or anyone they've decided they don't like? That has nothing to do with it one way or the other. Besty DeVos, a person, was possibly assaulted by leftist rioters.

Why were these protesters not charged with interfering with a federal official during the course of their duties?

It was a good enough charge for the Oregon wildlife protesters.

It looked like she had one. He escorted her back to the vehicle and away from the protestors. I watched the video this morning.

“...one man had been arrested for assaulting a police officer at the protest at Jefferson Middle School Academy.”

Later that day they had an assembly to discuss and interact with the children in order to create a dialogue.

“So kids - just remember. If you are on a sports team, debate club, or whatever interest you are pursuing - well, I think we all can learn a lesson from today’s events. If you lose - assault someone. Anyone - although a police officer is better as it will provide more attention to your cause and the statement you are making.”
