It’s time for an NFL owners meeting, with three major items on the agenda:

1) Boot Goodell to the curb and identify possible replacements. (See third item)

2) Dictate that the players’ union cannot prevent the firing or benching of any player who brings shame to the NFL through criminal actions or by disrespecting the league and the USA, without the team having to pay the remainder of a contract.

3) Make it clear to whomever the commissioner, his staff and the union that the owners will not submit to extortion, such as Goodell is trying to do with his threat to withhold Super Bowls from States that don’t cave to permit transgenders use any restroom they want.

The owners of the teams should be in control. Instead, they have been acting like home owners being ruled by an HOA.

Our children are way more important in Texas than any F**king football game.

Just don’t bond yourselves into long-term debt to give these a$$holes places to play.

I agree with you about owners who demand that cities fund them a new stadium. ...There are exceptions:

Jerry Jones paid over $1B for Cowboys Stadium (now AT&T stadium).

Arlington furnished streets and other infrastructure. As Cowboy games typically draw 80k-95k attendance, plus the many other events like bull riding, concerts, motorbike racing, etc., throughout the year.

The city has gained many hotels, restaurants and shopping areas, as a result. The city and its taxpayers have had a boom to the city’s economy.

I'm told Fargo,ND is looking to host a future Super Bowl.
They have a local HS football field that will work.
Given the hubris of the NFL recently that may be an attractive offer.

Help me understand this. I don’t attend football games. Are there women pretending to be men using the men’s rooms? Are there mem pretending to be women using the women’s room? Are the other 49 varieties of gender misidentification running loose in football stadiums? What’s in it for the NFL?
