Good evening, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
We made it through hump day....if I look hard I can see the weekend.

Howdy, PRO.
The radar didn’t look very pretty over your area today. Bet you’re ready to put that snow shovel away once and for all.

Freezing rain is ugly...you and Penny stay safe and warm.
Do you have spikies for your shoes/boots when you are out walking with Penny?

Howdy do, Conor. *HUGZ*
Hope you’re beginning to feel better.
Sounds like you’ve been riding the weather roller coaster like we have. Warm, cold, warm. cold. We were warm the past few days and the cold front came through a little while ago. The temp dropped 20 degrees in less than an hour and is still dropping. BRRR

Yes, we got some rain when the cold front roared through a little while ago. Another band of light rain moving in and we might get a few flurries before the night’s over.
Be careful heading home. Those streets still look awfully slick.

Good evening, Radu!
*HUGS*
We have been on a wild ride indeed! We actually had to turn the A/C on briefly this afternoon.

Hiya radu!
Yup, it was lightly snowing when I woke-up and by 10:00 AM it was a blizzard that blew all day. ALL DAY!
I didn't go anywhere and will see how it looks in the AM.
It's suppose to warm to the 40's so we should get some melt.
How wuz your Wednesday? Kittehs behaving?

It wasn’t quite warm enough for A/C here but we did have windows open. Didn’t need a sweater or jacket when I went out this afternoon.
Just had to get up and turn the heat back on. It got chilly in here all of a sudden.
We’ll be back in the 60s this weekend.

I can believe it snowed heavy! The radar wasn’t pretty at all. Can’t blame you for staying in with that kind of weather raging.
Sure will be nice for y’all when you finally get that warm-up they’ve promised.
It was nice this afternoon when I went to the grocery store but the line of thunderstorms that roared through brought colder temps behind it. NICE light show and I spent a few minutes outside watching. When a bolt streaked across overhead I decided it was time to get back inside. LOL
At the moment the kittehs are quiet but for how long remains to be seen. We’re enjoying it while it lasts!

BAND OF BROTHERS
WORLD WAR II
Soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division "Screaming Eagles" June 7, 1944 at Ste. Marie du Mont, France
"THIS DAY IS CALL'D the feast of Crispian. He that outlives this day, and comes safe home, Will stand a tip-toe when this day is named, And rouse him at the name of Crispian. He that shall live this day, and see old age, Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours, And say, "To-morrow is Saint Crispian." Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars, And say, "These wounds I had on Crispin's day."
KOREA
Marines of the "Chosin Few", 1st Marine Division Chosin Reservoir, Korea, December 1950
"OLD MEN FORGET; yet all shall be forgot, But he'll remember with advantages What feats he did that day. Then shall our names, Familiar in his mouth as household words, Harry the King, Bedford, and Exeter, Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester, Be in their flowing cups freshly rememb'red. This story shall the good man teach his son; And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by, From this day to the ending of the world, But we in it shall be remembered."
VIETNAM
FMF Corpsman D. R. Howe treats the wounds of Pfc. D. A. Crum, USMC "H" Company, 2nd Battalion, Fifth Marine Regiment, during Operation Hue City.
"WE FEW, WE HAPPY FEW, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile, This day shall gentle his condition: And gentlemen in England now a-bed Shall think themselves accursed they were not here, And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day." (Henry V, Act IV, Scene iii)
AFGHANISTAN
Soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division in action, Afghanistan, 2011
OUR NATIONAL MEMORIALS October 2013
"ONCE MORE unto the breach, dear friends, once more, Or close the wall up with our English dead. In peace there's nothing so becomes a man As modest stillness and humility; But when the blast of war blows in our ears, Then imitate the action of the tiger; Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood, Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage; Then lend the eye a terrible aspect; Let it pry through the portage of the head Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it As fearfully as does a galled rock O'erhang and jutty his confounded base, Swill'd with the wild and wasteful ocean."(Henry V, Act III, Scene i)
THE STRUGGLE AGAINST TYRANNY GOES ON, AS IT HAS FROM TIMES IMMEMORIAL. THE BAND OF BROTHERS STILL STANDS FAST IN THE BREACH!
THEY HAVE OUR SIX!
Honor Them For Their Service And Sacrifice!

Having an overnighter And Will Leave in the Morning To Cincinnati Then Hmmm NYC I Think. Even if it's for work, why would you want to come here? All the communists aside, we're supposed to get hammered with terrible weather. Schools were declared closed hours ago, dunno anything about the MTA or bridge closures.
Oh yeah, and Hi. (derp I am)
