Last week, employees at T.J. Maxx and Marshalls got very clear instructions about where to put signs for Ivanka Trump products: in the garbage.
The TJX Companies, the retailers’ parent company, told employees not to display Ivanka Trump merchandise separately and to throw away Ivanka Trump signs, according to a note to employees on Wednesday, a copy of which was obtained by The New York Times.
“Effective immediately, please remove all Ivanka Trump merchandise from features and mix into the runs,” the note read. “Runs” refers to the normal clothing racks where the majority of products hang. “All Ivanka Trump signs should be discarded.”

Ive been to TJ Maxx and I have NEVER seen any Ivanka Trump merchandise posted and this is before and during Trump’s run for President
This makes me wonder why her clothes were never “part of the run” in the first place unless they were in demand. If Ivanka’s clothes weren’t selling, why do so many stores have her line?
I think my GF has been to MOST TJM stores in L.A. and she’s never seen them too.
Same here. I had no idea her stuff went there. Hopefully she will be the one to pull them. Mostly they have crap.

Wow!!! I am one of their most faithful customers I love TJmax and Marshall’s! I have spent big big bucks at their store and have their credit card!!! I am deeply disappointed, shocked, dismayed and pissed off! If this turns out to be true they will hear from us middle America who can’t afford Nordstrom but can marshall’s and TJmax!!!

This is faker news as why would a store buy a product, and not want to to get their money back. Instead they just throw it away or remove it. Does not make sense

I just called the TJMaxx store closest to their corporate headquarters to tell them i was disappointed that TJMaxx was getting involved in politics. I asked to speak to the manager. He said, “We used to carry Ivanka’s clothing line before all the shenanigans.” Then he laughed and said, I guess that tells you what I think, and he laughed again. He was really snotty about it.

The stores has the best selection of designer clothes and the best selection of merchandise because it’s within a half-mile of their headquarters.
I am sick and tired of these s.o.b’s and plan to look up their corporate board. Obviously I’d love it if any of you would call him.
Oh - I’m thinking I might even post a review on yelp!

I just helped my son relocate to another state and I bought a lot of stuff from TJ Maxx! I am so disappointed and heartbroken I really liked those stores! I will boycott if it turns out to be true and I will personally take my cut up credit card to the manager here!! I live in a poorer city so I would not expect to see Ivanka’s clothing line...A matter of fact I have been to Dallas and I have never seen her clothing line in any of the marshals or TJ Maxx stores ...but then again I never paid attention to her line. Now is this legit or hearsay fake news? I know Stein Mart does carry her line though it’s very limited ...I wonder if they’re next to give her the boot?
Same here. And I cannot recall that any particular manufacturer or designer’s merchandise has been displayed separately.
Ivanka needs to smell the lib’s stinky coffee and switch to an online strategy. Her intermediaries have clearly outlived their purpose and her brand — thanks in part to her winning political family — must be stronger than ever. Cut out the middle lib, and keep more of the profits to yourself, Ivanka!
