California State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Léon (D-Los Angeles) is quite a piece of work. He introduced a bill into the California State Senate that would make California a sanctuary state. He is the author of the bill:

SB54, authored by Senate pro Tem Kevin De Léon (D-Los Angeles) and Sen. Richard Pan (D-Sacramento), is scheduled to be heard in the State Senate’s Public Safety Committee this morning.

According to Senator De Léon’s website, SB54 (along with two other bills designed to provide state funds for legal defense for anyone ordered deported) is to be known as “Protecting California’s People and Prosperity Against Immigration Enforcement Overreach.” De Leon has ordered these measures “to prevent the use of state and local resources, including personnel, for immigration enforcement; and the creation of a federal registry” fast-tracked, meaning the normal schedule of hearings that can take weeks will be compressed into less than a week.

De Léon is worried that Donald Trump might deport those illegals guilty of identity theft and fraud. You know, crimes that would put you and me in jal:

This begs many questions. Is there such a thing as “law” in California at all? Does the law apply to illegals at all?

Theft and illegal use of a Social Security Account isn’t a state crime. It is a Federal Crime.

Seems like treason to me, and de Leon seems like an “asymmetrical” enemy combatant.

So... you have to be an illegal for it to be legal ?

What ever happened to EQUAL RIGHTS ? CIVIL RIGHTS ? Why can’t AMERICAN CITIZENS take advantage of identity theft and social security fraud without worrying about being thrown in jail ?

DeLeon has suggested doing something illegal. Why isn’t he facing prosecution?

Well they are just Mexicans! A bunch of illegal aliens who’ve moved in and taken charge of our state legislature. I hope President Trump makes it his personal goal to have DeLeon’s family deported.

Where would mexifornia be without their illegals with multiple SS numbers getting multiple SS bennies and multiple IRS refunds per illegal ? Of course the bulk is cash transferred back to mehico, but enough is spent inside CA to boost the state tax base. So of course they will make it legal as a ‘state law’, but it’s still illegal federally. Now for them just to get collared and deported, it’s a comin.

Not as much as the people that vote for them.

This is something the Trump administration should consider in an EO. It should inform the SSA to immediately contact employers where a SS number associated with an employee at their location is being used at an alternate location. Advise both the companies of the daily fine and give them 30 days to confirm legitimacy of the associated employee.

Kalifornia needs to be censured and have its representation reduced until such time they get on board with the idea we are one nation.

Yes, it is the states right to go their own way, but only up to a point. Kali is now working against the national security interests of America. They might as well change the states name to North Mexico if they are going to play these games and the feds need to take drastic measures to stop Kali’s criminally insane (aka state pols) from damaging the rest of the country.

SSA has had a handle on the real truth from day one when they started using computers. They know anything and everything about any number, real or false. They don’t do anything about the multiple uses of one number because they only have to pay out according to the legitimate owner, and they damned sure don’t credit his account with the extra payments that will net him more retirement money.

They KNOW - they’ve known for decades.

Lawlessness like this is a nationwide problem.

It’s been going on so long all the ignorant low information people think it’s normal and proper.

I believe that is the greatest part of the anti-Trump hysteria.

People don’t truly know right from wrong anymore and very few can think for themselves anymore. They seem to just think, feel and do what fakebook and the teevee tell them to.

People have never been so breathtakingly stupid in our country before the last decade or so.

California needs to be sold to Mexico.

Geographically Cali is a great state. Politically and demographically it has gone downhill to the level of being a 3rd world banana republic.

I would much rather see the USA use its resources to vacate all non citizens with the exception of those with current green cards or those a company can prove is needed for their expertise that no American has. This can be relaxed once the state has been cleaned up.

Start at the Northern border of the state and then move south giving lots of incentive for illegals to self deport before getting physical. No jobs, no income, no reason to stay. If they try to commit crimes to support themselves then that can be dealt with too. Use all criminal illegals for farm work so they don't cost us anything to incarcerate. Harsh? Yep. Sadly Necessary? Yep.

Excuse me, but doesn't ID theft often involve Interstate crime? A drivers license might be strictly limited to a state as long as it is nit part of say an insurance company, credit rating bureau, Internet store account

Is the State of California going to become a co-conspititor of ID crimes?

I would hope that there will be a special joint IRS/DOJ task force that investigates fake US federal tax returns from California. The reason is that there will be a companion California State tax return. Maybe the feds can find a pattern of State complicity with the filing of illegal federal tax returns and get the State on RICO charges.

This is how they will enact reparations. they will just allow minorities and illegals to steal white people’s identities.

BLM is obsessed with the idea that white people need to pay up. That kind of crap is a seed planted deep inside the movement.

Nothing is a coincidence, folks.

Misplaced compassion leads to cruelty to the innocent.
All this compassion for the illegal immigrant violating both immigration laws and identity theft laws ... and none for people whose identities were stolen and their legal mess.
