Ralphie kicking ass speaks to me in many profound ways.
I have taught in 2 private schools, one a Catholic school & now teach in a public primary school. Of course no place is 100 % safe, but private schools can get rid of bullies & thugs. Sorry, but public schools are so out of control. The administration does not want police involvement because then they are on the public radar.
But with the breakdown of the family & kids being exposed to way too much adult entertainment & often a parent who would rather party than parent or parents who are basically on the educable mentally retarded scale you get mayhem & violence and no fear or respect for authority.
I love my tiny self contained class, my colleagues & the small town atmosphere ( I stopped off at the post office on the way home & a little kid yelled, “Hi Ms.......”),but private or home schooled is 100 times better.
I’m a special needs teacher Yaelle & I am so happy to hear your son is in such a safe place. One of my autistic boys does not speak, but laughs & makes lots of noises! My brother got me this touristy Delaware mug. It has a picture & words in a dark burgundy brown on a cream background. The first time in January I drank my coffee from it & he went nuts.....getting down low to look at it & staring & laughing like he was at the circus. Now every morning he moves my cup around on the table & cracks up.

You seem to have very limited experience.
I’ve seen many street fights started by whites with their opponents being Hispanics or Blacks, and the other way around also. And of course, I’ve seen even more street fights white on white, Italian on Polish, Italian on Italian, Black on Black, Mexican on Mexican, Puerto Rican on Puerto Rican.
I never use that nickname.
Plenty of names some people deserve to be called, but decent hard-working folk don’t need to be sullied in the effort.
I tried fighting the “Amish” nonsense here,but gave up.

I have never seen anyone except a black beat someone senseless just because they bumped into them walking down a crowded hallway. Even way back in high school I never even saw competing white gang members do such a thing.
Now I’ve heard of Polish gangs and Italian gangs etc but they were all back in the 1950’s or so.
In the last 20 years I’ve not even heard of anyone but blacks (and maybe Mexicans) acting like this.
I’ll admit that I live in the civilized part of the country (Rural America) and not in the liberal controlled cities. Maybe life is different in the ghetto.
The various accounts used “beat up” or “beaten”, although a quote from his mother said he was “slammed to the ground”.
It seems to me these amount to euphemisms for what I think had to be a single massive punch to the face by a much larger individual. So I build around that.
I find it kind of disturbing the way the whole thing has been turned into a giant love fest ... “for Henry”. It seems obvious that there’s a deep background here which is being avoided.
Now I wonder if any of it will ever come out. I have to think everybody at the school knows the story, or a version of it, by word of mouth. But the screws are down tight.
Any parent that doesn't understand their absolute first responsibility is to the safety and education of their children shouldn't procreate.
Of course, they are the ones who procreate the most.
Elgin is on the western fringe of "Chicagoland". Just five miles to the west of the Kenyon Woods school you break out into open farm land. Of course, that doesn't mean an instant transformation to "heartland", but I drive out to a similar area to observe the skies under somewhat better conditions, and there is a change. Still plenty of people around, though, to be sure.
Counseling? That is what you do after an argument. The beating he gave the other boy is enough to prove to me this is a thug boy and he needs to be out of that school and locked up somewhere. After he is behind bars then they can “counsel” him all they want. At this point he is a danger to everyone around him.
I would be beyond surprised if the thug that nearly or may have beat the other boy to death had decent hard working parents- even one decent hard working parent.
I am surrounded by decent hard working Hispanics who are legally here and their children are very decent as well. The boy that beat the other one so badly is I guarantee a thug boy no matter what his race or ethnicity is. Thugs raise thug children. Thugs are thugs and should get zero respect, and the decent Hispanic parents I know would have far more harsh and racist sounding things to say about the boy that did this than what is on this thread.
Not sure what you mean by a street fight, but to me it is just an ordinary fist fight. This sounds very much like the one boy tried his best to beat the other boy to death. That is a very different thing and I have only seen it in children of thugs, gang bangers- who are most likely to be black or Hispanic if their parents are MS 13 types.
When I grew up fist fights were very common among boys, they would punch each other a bit, let off steam and it would be over. Every adult would wade right in and break them up without hesitation. Now many are teaching boys to never, ever fight but a few are teaching their thug children to fight to kill at the least perceived slight or even because the other is a different race.
Thug people raising thug children need to severely be dealt with but we also need to get back to reality of normal boy behavior.
