Whats with smearing the Amish?
Back in the early 1970s I was subjected to bullying while in Junior High and I absolutely hated it. I complained to the school staff but nothing was done. Finally, I flat told them "if you won't protect me I will protect myself." The next day I was waiting for one of my tormentors outside his class. When I came out, I pounced. He never saw it coming. In front of everyone else in the hallway, I beat the shit out of him.
When I was taken to the Vice Principal, I stood up to him and said "You refused to protect me, and I told you what was going to happen." He let me go without any discipline. And the funny thing is, I was never bothered again.
That would not happen today.
Why must we make such underhanded racist comments? There are many hard working, decent hispanics in Elgin and elsewhere who are here legally and desire an improved life for them and their kids. Many where born here and are citizens and...a lot of them voted for Trump!

ONLY because theoretically, someone in middle school is probably under 18, and with all the social promotions given, I can see limiting the information about the perpetrator.
Still, anyone who's lived in this country for a few years and has a brain connected to their eyes, it'd be shocking if the pugilist wasn't a member of a protected community.

That said, blacks beating up white kids is SOP in public schools.
Didn’t Obama issue an order to schools to refrain from expelling black kids regardless of infraction, saying the expulsions were disproportionate to the black population?

The problem is if a white child had beat up a minority child that information would be front and center in the article. Personally I doubt if it were a Hispanic giving the beating particularly given the administration’s response. I would also bet it was done by child in a single parent home.

I said I would bet.
If you look at the statistics, boys in single parent homes they have a much greater frequency of discipline problems than boys from homes with two parents.
It is not identified as a problem because of political correctness and it is inconvenient. With now over 40% of the kids born out of wedlock in this country it is a growing problem.
It's pretty much standard practice to jokingly assume, since the media NEVER just comes out and admits that it was a black kid who beat up this white kid (which it most likely was, that sort of animal behavior isn't seen in too many people of other skin colors), that it must have been the non-violent Amish that did it.
No smear on the Amish at all. And since the Amish for the most part do not use the internet (no electricity!) they don't read it that way either.
Parents, until Betty DeVos gets a handle on public school, home school your kids...we are ranked 27th in the world on science, math and reading...
