Gun control group Everytown for Gun Safety was not happy about the National Rifle Association’s presence at a Wednesday strategy meeting at the White House, making their concerns known on social media.
In a Thursday Facebook post, Everytown displayed a photograph of NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre seated next to President Donald Trump and added the following critique of the pairing:
A picture is worth a thousand words, and in this case, none of them are good.
Just yesterday, NRA leader Wayne LaPierre sat right next to President Trump as he held his first meeting about his Supreme Court nominee.
The NRA literally has a seat at the table when it comes to controlling our laws—even though their extreme views are completely out-of-step with the vast majority of the American people. This is deeply concerning.

The millions of guns flying off the shelves and the ongoing tight ammunition supply would suggest otherwise.
On the contrary. This picture is a sign that the security of a free state is going to be preserved, in the right of the people to keep and bear arms with less government infringement than we have had the last 50 years.
Everytown, you do realize that the Electorate voted Trump don’t you?
You lost every battleground. Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, Michigan, Wisconsin.
You seem to need some sunlight reach the basement of reality that is your world.

I say let Kaliforna go, it will become a hippie magnet and ensure that the rest of the country gets a republican president for the next 30-50 years....
It makes a person wonder if guns.com even knows what they are talking about. Speaking for myself, I am glad we have the NRA. My hunch is, if we did not have the NRA only criminals would be in possession of guns and of course the government, which may be considerably more oppressive than it is now. I for one would hate to trade the US for either France or Great Britain, if you happen to kill or injure some one in self-defense there you probably will be in more trouble than the person who actually wanted to do you in. Anyway we look at it, this world is far from peaceful and from the looks of it, it is not getting any better and guns certainly are not the problem, it is what is in peoples minds and how they are brought up.
I don’t like that.
Maybe break it up into 3 states. North, South, and East.
Ex mayor Bloomberg and Moms join ranks because both are expanding by leaps and bounds. (/s)
I would advise everyone to buy as much guns as they possibly can considering how violent the left has been.

Anything south of San fran gets put into a new country, and the northern part can be renamed jefferson and added to the union to counter the southern Kali leaving.
Everytown need to put signs that read “This house is gun free” in front of each of their houses.
