The best part is NBC is going to get slammed by the civil rights groups and trashed by their media buddies for doing something that all of us on our side would have done. Tamron Hall and Al Joker weren’t cutting it ratings wise so NBC execs go out to find a big name to replace them. Makes perfect sense. Oh oh, the “big” name replacement is white and the people getting canned are black. I can just see some NBC honchos pleading with their fellow media libs not to get their cards to the NYC and DC cocktail and dinner party circuit revoked.
Why ain’t they picketing NBC....close down 5th Ave. Pluck the Peacock! Megan’s bringing her brand of journalism.....NBC tired of Al and Tamrod....now that useless Al

Lots of shows get cancelled for all sorts of reasons.
Rarely watch any daily news show, let alone any AM shows, and especially not any NBC AM shows.
She's okay as background at night on the Discovery ID channel. Her presence/voice over doesn't make me want to change the channel.
In no way shape or form should we either praise or condemn this. This is left-on-left warfare and we should stay out completely. Support no side. Let them both suffer.

I got the impression she was always trying to act the drama queen; fake empathy and all that...
But you're right "...ever since my sister was the victim..." is unneeded pap, and is generally a turnoff, but watching say, "Top Chef" for instance, one learns to tune out and separate the plain annoying BS from annoying BS that may hold clues to the next person eliminated from the competition.
