I agree with you both. I believe it calls for an armed response at the border.
Every cop and official in the country is approached by the cartels with this offer....either they cooperate with the cartels,thus earning themselves "silver" or they and/or their families are killed...with "lead".It's a bit like that famous line from The Godfather..."my father told him that either his signature or his brains would be on that contract".
So the question is...from which cartel is *this* official getting his silver?
