Who else can be most trusted to accurately translate and sift through (& not leak to our enemies) millions upon millions of communications intercepted by our security agencies & armed forces?
Of course there are also loyal translators who are lifelong Muslims, who have come here from the Mideast.
But if you have to quickly ramp up your Arabic speaking translators in this global war, and vetting & trust issues are paramount as you look at the stream of refugees trying to get here, who can you trust more to be immune from the siren calls of the dark side of Islam?
A follower of Islam? Or someone whose family has been persecuted for countless generations by Muslims, with the torture & bloodletting increasing exponentially in recent years?
If alligators had more than a peanut for a brain they would be organizing a protest against you right now for that comparison.
Trump appears to be the FIRST PRESIDENT in my lifetime that even knows Christians exist in the Middle East. Even Bush surrounded himself with only Muslims after 9-11.

You could say Allah Akabar and if their butt shoots up in the air, then we probably don’t want them.
But I suspect that we might have better ways. One thing that comes to my mind is to ask specific questions about where they come from. Christians in that part of the world almost always live in their own communities. If they seem to know a lot about their (claimed) community, then they probably do live there. Just comparing the businesses and streets (at least from non-burned out communities) to Google Maps or Israeli data will probably weed out the fakes.
