The ACLU is massively funded by Soros’s Open Society Foundations, including with a $50 million grant in 2014....
Taryn Higashi, executive director of the Center’s International Refugee Assistance Project, which is listed on the Trump lawsuit, currently serves on the Advisory Board of the International Migration Initiative of Soros’s Open Society Foundations...
Over the last decade, Soros has reportedly provided some $76 million for immigrant issues....
In 2014, the New York Times credited “immigrant rights groups” financed by Soros and a handful of other donors for influencing President Obama’s immigration policy....

The CITY of Miami mayor is not on board, and apparently doesn’t give a damn if people are murdered by illegal aliens in the city.
OK, I never heard of a county mayor before.

BS; the movement is designed to re-populate areas abandoned by productive Americans and their employers. Here in NJ the “sanctuary cities” are those with nobody left to prepare fast food for, and clean up after, the welfarian population that is all that remains in the city. Detroit lost funding when the city fell below 1 million people (I believe it is down to 600K now); they’d be happy to take in anyone that can maintain the illusion of a viable population (even if “outside” taxpayers foot the bill for both the trafficked immigrants and the native welfarians).

My whole state (NJ) is a sanctuary; enforcement of immigration laws here would close whole school districts and half of our urban populations would be gone.
Well, let’s see what happens to NJ if the law is enforced. It will be interesting; won’t it cut your state and local government costs drastically?
In theory, but the government workers (teachers, cops) have become an industry unto themselves and will fight this tooth and nail. Neither group really has skills marketable in the private sector, so if we have 100 teachers working in 5 schools for 15,000 students we’d just end up with 100 teachers working in 3 schools for 10,000 students...
The strength of those unions is directly responsible for destroying NJ.
