There was a guy fidgiting around (for a cell phone). It was very suspicious. I think it was Secret Service in military dress. One gave the all clear and then they all left.
I think they were dressed in military uniform to not cause a stir. It worked.

I thought it was to be able to evacuate the elderly former presidents and First Ladies first in the event of a downpour.

There were some individuals who passed out umbrellas. But this group from different services marched out in formation, stood at attention for several minutes, and then marched off. I didn’t see them passing out anything. It was very unusual.
The Donald knew what he was doing when he made his selections for Secretary of Defense and Secretary of Homeland Security!
Heck - He even knows how to pronounce "Corps"!
I wondered when that happened what was going on. An officer in front had an umbrella, I thought maybe he was going to hold it over the CIC. He put it down and they left. It looked out of order in that it didn’t seem to be part of anything

I just watched it. I think maybe they meant to form some sort of screen in front of the camera.
There is someone going back & forth behind them.
Perhaps someone fainted, got sick or needed some sort of assistance.
What with the whirlwind Trump has been, there's been no time for this kind of stuff.
My son was laughing about the way Trump plays the media. He says that early in the day he makes some tweet that they are all over like white on rice for the rest of the day, and while they're having a meltdown about that, he's busy signing executive orders and getting things done that aren't being reported on right away, cause they 're too busy having the vapors from the mornings tweet.
The old school tv media can’t keep up with Trump. While they quibble over some word or gesture he just used, he’s 200 miles down the road to fix the next disaster.
It looked like a coup was being stopped or something.
I thought two things - (1) It was too help stop a coup (2) It was a dramatic show of support in general, from the Armed Forces, for the new CiC. The latter seems more likely to me.
