Thank you for referencing that article BlessedBeGod. Please note that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

As a side note to this thread, please consider the following.

There's a major constitutional problem with foreign aid beyond the scope of US taxpayers paying for foreign abortions.

More specifically, Justice Joseph Story had indicated that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds the specific power to tax and spend for foreign aid purposes.

“If the tax be not proposed for the common defence, or general welfare, but for other objects, wholly extraneous, (as for instance, for propagating Mahometanism among the Turks, or giving aids and subsidies to a foreign nation, to build palaces for its kings, or erect monuments to its heroes,) it would be wholly indefensible upon constitutional principles [emphases added].” — Justice Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution 2 (1833) .

So Trump has his work cut out for him with respect to draining the swamp. But I’m sure that he can handle the challenge.

I’m sure a lot of federal spending corruption is traceable back to the ill-conceived 17th Amendment. So patriots need to support Trump in repealing that amendment.

Pope Francis’ latest communications to and about Trump, including congratulatory telegram, have not been negative.

Infallibility has never been, of course, a characteristic of papal diplomacy. Nowadays we are grateful if the Pope’s media handlers manage to help him avoid absolute disaster and settle for being simply boilerplate non-offensive.

Nonsense. What any modern pope says and does has enormous global consequences for good or evil. Everyone, Catholic or not, should “care” what this Pope says.

Prayers and sacrifices are in order, so his good may be magnified, and his evil expunged.

I don’t want to jump the gun here, but our “populist” president is starting to look pretty darn conservative.

populist: interested in the concerns of the common man.

Common Americans are pro-life to some degree. They don't like PBA, they aren't in favor of using abortion as birth control and they don't like forcing people to pay for it.

A lot of the NeverTrumpers I know refused to support him because they did not believe his conversion to Pro Life was genuine.

I knew some like that.

However, I also know more than just some who go to church, hold Bible studies...and own a business with employment of illegals being one of the pillars of their business model.

Now that there is serious commitment to enforcing immigration you can bet this will be investigated.

Can’t wait for the Pope to applaud Trump and the Pulitzer, of course, to go to Trump for World Peace, in the lives saved, by cutting off this tax money, wrung from the hands of Catholics and other pro-life opposition faith traditions forced to fund this abomination.

Tax evasion meant fines or worse to protest our complicity in funding these deaths of the innocent.

This action by Trump may serve as reparations to God for our sins in promoting and funding death, while expecting His blessing.
