This could derail Trump's presidency, especially if things turn even a little bit bad. Every little thing is twisted and made to look sinister.
We here at Free Republic pay attention to what is happening, but much of the general public still just hears the noise and thinks something is wrong with the President -- that he is crazy, incompetent and evil, even though his presidency has gotten off to a brilliant start that could hardly be better.
Trump and his administration has to do something about.
We have to do something.
We have to fight the MSM.

The best way to counter the MSM is to post facts on their websites. Posting here on FR is ok, but this is largely preaching to the choir. The Right needs internet-warriors to counter those on the Left....simple as that....just counter their facts with facts and disrupt their narrative.

The memo today was “voter fraud.” It was brought up relentlessly during today’s press briefing, and has been a news story on every Fox News program I’ve seen today.
Why on earth they’re focusing on THAT is beyond me, because all Trump has to do is say: “Okay, press... you’re SO concerned about voter fraud? Tell you what - we’re going to pass laws requiring proof of citizenship for all voters. Happy now?”
There are dozens of smear jobs every hour. Not all of them have comment sections and you would have to register for each one. But we have to do something.
Trump should do more at a higher level, using the platform of the presidency.

The difference is the MSM is so low on the respect scale, with less impact than I can remember.

It’s been this way on Google News about every day since the primaries well over a year. Nary a positive article about Trump. They pump them out without much effect. The Dumb media has been neutered.

Oh noes. Trump is done. Haven’t you learn anything yet. Trumps always owns the downside. That’s why these MSM hit jobs don’t work on him. Watch and learn my friend.
Yes, the media bias is bad and sad. The Ventura County Star had one positive and six negative articles on Saturday, Jan 21. There was a nice photo of Trump at the podium. Then there were six slanderous articles: protestors unhappy, confront Democrats, possible lawsuits, etc. Just evil.
Thankfully, few people subscribe or read the VC Star. Sadly, the numerous elderly and military in town get insulted daily by the local newspaper. My friends say that they know the paper is one sided and that they skip to the local news, obituaries, tv schedule and comics.

There is an unrelenting barrage of propaganda, like nothing I’ve ever seen for sure...
I think it’s clear that Trump is well aware of the issue. Twitter is one of his means of dealing with this.
He needs to chill, and govern stably for a few weeks. Things should settle down. HIs approval ratings are actually climbing, and he’s certainly doing a lot of the right things.
We all need to do what we can to help fight the smears, and the Left in general. They are both despicable.
