Career preservation sinks in to the bureaucracy. Now the question is ... was it preservation before or after?
So I'm going to guess that this was an Obama administration decision to cancel that has nothing to do with President Trump (though, hey, sounds great, I'm more than willing for his people to take credit for it going away) of a conference that apparently had little to no preliminary coverage (because it was most likely a live version of their BRACE (Building Resilience Against Climate Effects) webinars) and little interest as a whole lot of states aren't interested in sending folks out to a do nothing conference.
These Gorebull Warming fanatics have been having nice meetings in expensive places with our tax $’s while expanding their so called carbon footprint.

Lots and lots of areas to save money in. Hope it continues. I haven’t stopped smiling since the election!

No sense in starting off on the wrong foot. Expect more cancellations and reduced/eliminated funding of such boondoggles.

The Leftists are slowly dying, and they are trying very hard to ramp up their rhetoric so they will get noticed. Pretty much “spoiled child” syndrome is rampant among the losers and they are so desperate for attention that they are willing to do anything.
And, of course, Soros is in the cheering section, egging them on with $$$. That will get old, too, when people who otherwise have a shred of decency begin to realize how pathetic their efforts really are.

They need to get someone like Leah Rimini to do an expose on the EPA like she’s doing on the “Church” of Scientology. Which should BTW, be prosecuted by our government under the RICO statutes in it’s own right.

Funny how it’s oftentimes referred to as MAN made climate change. Instead of something more “gender neutral” like HUMAN made climate change. As if it’s some transparent,lame attempt at subtle manipulation.
Why is man made climate change real? Because modern science tells us so! When the first railroads were built the scientists of the day warned of the dangers of rail travel, saying the human body cannot withstand sustained speeds above 30MPH. I’m sure Jeff Gordon and Chuck Yeager would have a YYYUUUGE laugh over that one. We visited the Baseball Hall of Fame. They have an excellent exhibit on the history of the Negro Leagues. One artifact I remember was an excerpt from a medical journal published at the end of WW2 arguing against integrating the Major Leagues on the grounds that Blacks are athletically INFERIOR to Whites. Never mind that Joe Louis, Jesse Owens, Satchel Paige and many others already blew that myth to smithereens. And obviously Jackie Robinson, Willie Mays, Roy Campenella, Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks,etc never received that memo. Which shows another problem with modern “settled “ science. Which shows another problem with modern science. How factors unrelated to the subject matter at hand skews the findings. Whether it was the ugly spectacle of prejudice in the not always good old days, or the need to push an agenda for political and /or financial gain. The climate change scientists get funding from the EPA as well as environmental agencies from other countries and the UN with the expectations that they be “team players “ and produce results. So their assertions of human activity causing all this gloom and doom are as meaningful as Warren Buffet issuing a strong buy recommendation on Berkshire Hathaway.
Science is never settled. “Climate Science” as practiced by Al Gore et al. has severely damaged our culture’s view of how scientific inquiry should be conducted. When a large batch of “climate scientists” emails were released it showed that they were primarily concerned with manipulating public opinion and not actual research. Everyone involved should have lost their jobs and been shunned by the the “scientific” community. But none of them even got a slap on the wrist. And by and large the mainstream media did not even report on the scandal. It is amazing to me that the common sense of the population somehow has kept the mind numbing amount of propaganda from having its intended effect.
You mean like the diseases being introduced by Illegals?
Time to reign in the spending. Can’t nickel and dime our budget for stupid stuff.
