The funny part is that they wanted to do it, but feared Trump officials waiting at the exit doors with pink slips for the federal attendees.

Probably realized they were going to have to pay for it out of their own pockets.

Agreed. And it would please me beyond words if Trump were to repeal the $1 billion Obama handed out to other assorted international and US gubmint organizations the week before Trump took the oath of office.

I cannot wait until President Trump exposes anthropogenic global warming theory for the hoax it is. I am going to open a bottle of Dom Perignon that day.

“The CDC should not get involved in “climate change” issues.”
Neither should NOAA or NASA, and I’d love to see the climate parts of the NCAR budget completely eliminated.

DDT yes, perhaps the most effective mosquito killer. Now illegal.

Unfortunately, in every agency in the crosshairs, there will be good people at risk. I have been through such scenarios in the past, not as a govey employee, but as a business contracting with the govey. But one needs to look at the overall benefit to this country. If these people can be identified and retained in a slimmed-down CDC, it would likely benefit us ALL.

My first thought was the CDC raid that presumably went down yesterday morning at 3 am. Some are calling the story fake but...???
