Advice to media: Don’t Make Stuff Up.
Maybe if they did what they are supposed to do: report the news, instead of reporting their opinions and biases as news, there wouldn’t be a problem.
I am glafd to see Trump is taking them on, instead of letting them get away with their lies.

The media makes more money off advertising to Trump haters than to normal people. So he’s trying to drive down their total audience so their rates are lower in total.
It is like, this administration seems to have completely gotten, what is wrong.

Since they were so insulted by his first one, Trump should not have another press conference for the first 100 days. He can put out his tweets and keep everyone informed as to all the exciting things that are getting done. And he can prove that we can do without the Leftist media any time he wishes. It’s their fault.

Early in Trump’s campaign, he tossed out the idea of stricter laws on media reportage on public figures essentially lowering the bar on libel. The idea got a lot of negative comments on this forum as being an attack on free speech and a bad Trump idea. European courts on the other hand take actionable libel seriously and therefore British tabloids and similar make sure they have the story straight about EU politicians before they publish scandalous stories. On this side of the pond, not so much.
It’s not the “news media”. It’s fake propaganda and America is waking up to this crap.
No more fake news and no more opinion couched as news,

Here in flyover country, we’d call the encounter a “Come to Jesus moment” or “Telling them how the cow ate the cabbage”. Certainly not a list of woes or lamentations, the definition of “jeremiad.” Perhaps Spicer’s intent was the fake media would end up with their own jeremiad.
