Statement by AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka on the Womens March on Washington:
The AFL-CIO is proud to support the Womens March on Washington. Thousands of our 12.5 million memberswomen and men alikewill come together this weekend to stand up for gender justice, equality and opportunity for all.
The incoming Administration and Congressboth in words and actionspose a serious threat to these core labor values. So we are mobilizing for an economy that works for all of us, including strong unions, equal pay and health care for all, and renewing our pledge for womens rights, just immigration and racial justice.
Working people know this is not the time to retreat. Womens rights are workers rights. We are ready to march, fight and win.

No sorry not having it. You do not get to make a generalized statement as if it is a fact. What action has been taken that is a serious threat to labor ?
My wife is a union member in Minnesota, not by choice. They want her to join in on this garbage, too.

Your rank and file ####ed you. :)
Good luck with that march.
A LOT of union guys I know voted Trump.
So it’s OK for Union goons to get a “privilege pass” to glom onto the Wymyn’s March, but white women and pro-life feminists need not apply.
“Gender Justice”
Yet another stupid term to go in the Obama Newspeak dictionary.
Just yesterday I heard “Cis-Genderism”
So how many women are showing up for the march/protest, and will they be doing this “Naked”?????????????
Watch out D.C. the Trump Protest Pussy Posse is on it’s way to save our nation!!!!!!!!!!!!!
