Sheriff Clarke on Sen. Booker: 'He Lied About Jeff Sessions' and 'Stabbed Him In The Back'

In reaction to liberal Senator Cory Booker's (D-N.J.) testimony against attorney general-nominee and fellow Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke said Booker's remarks were "phony," that "he lied about Jeff Sessions," and that he acted like a "poor man's Obama."

Clarke added that Booker first called Sessions his "friend" and then "he turned around and just stabbed him in the back" with his testimony.

On the Jan. 11 edition of Fox's Hannity, host Sean Hannity asked Clarke, “Let me ask you about Cory Booker. He says about Jeff Sessions, ‘I feel so honored to work with him celebrating civil rights activist,’ which I thought that was a good thing they both did together. And then he testifies today against Jeff Sessions in the most theatrical way imaginable. Did you get the sense he was auditioning to try and be Barack Obama with the lofty rhetoric? I thought it was so fraudulent and phony to me.”

Sheriff Clarke said, “I thought it was disgraceful on the part of Cory Booker, who I have met. He's got more class than that but he didn't demonstrate this at the Sessions hearing."

"It was phony," said Clarke. "He lied about Jeff Sessions. He misrepresented statistics all in an attempt to, like you said, audition potentially for 2020. But that was not the time to do this.”

Clarke continued, “He calls Jeff Sessions a friend -- if you saw the opening of that -- and then he turned around and just stabbed him in the back for the rest of his presentation. It was phony."

"He is a poor man's Obama in terms of acting because he just doesn't have it," said Clarke.

"He is a poor man's Obama in terms of acting because he just doesn't have it," said Clarke.

There's a three-dimensional insult.

Nice one, Sheriff!

Sheriff Clarke and others like him (for example, Col Allan West) are true Americans with no needed African qualifier. They are the kind of men that my father was and I hope that I am. They are truly brothers and the very epitome of what Dr. Martin Luther King hoped to see.

I am seriously hoping that his talks with PE Trump were about the possibility of heading the FBI once PE Trump found a way to fire the current head of it. It’s a 10 year job. Since the FBI traitor resigned on his own Trump doesn’t have to find a way to fire him and the spot is now open for Sheriff Clarke. I really hope it’s offered and accepted...

Maybe we can really get lucky and they put the Chef of Police for Milwaukee (Famous for his video rant a few years back) as his right hand man. There is another Law and Order LEO. They have worked hand in hand together for years and make a wonderful team...
