The richest ZIP codes in the country are clustered around Washington DC... Not only are there too many government parasites, but they pay themselves VERY WELL.

DRAIN THE SWAMP

My suggestion is to get rid of the people who are simply coasting toward retirement. Institute a system that rewards motivation and results instead.

I am sure the people who are deadweight encompass more than 20%.

The first thing should be to eliminate zero-based budgeting. Start slashing from there.

Include entire nearly useless (and unconstitutional) departments like Education, Energy, EPA, HUD, and Labor and fold what is genuinely necessary into other departments - even while cutting their size by 10% and 20%. Then, adjust downward from there.

Treat this like a business in bankruptcy because that is exactly the position this government is in.

Hopefully the end to “baseline” budgeting.

Decimation is 10%.
Quintimation is 20%.

About Quintimation

Quintimation Incorporated is a California Corporation, founded by several veteran Internet entrepreneurs.

We are currently operating in "semi-stealth" mode, but we are working on tools that will revolutionize the way Rich Internet Applications (RIAs) are developed.

In the mean time, we will provide information and news about HTML5, CSS3, and related standards, and we will be building the core of a community of web designers and developers.

The content was not original with me, thus I did provide the links to the source.

Government funding is a giant shell came, where the taxpayer always loses.

“Actually higher than 10%. He wants spending cuts at 10% in addition to 20% cuts in personnel.”

“The cuts would target discretionary spending, not mandated programs such as Medicare or Social Security, the sources said.”

64% is non-discretionary. Another 6% is interest on the debt,.....just the interest. That leaves just under 30% that is discretionary. So 10% of 30% is a mere 3%. Not nearly enough to make a difference. We MUST attack the non-discretionary part of the budget.

Now a big help would be to start moving back to making Social Security untouchable. By that I mean if you contribute, the federal government can’t touch that money. They are stealing it now. Probably will never happen.

Almost a quarter of a TRILLION Dollars wasted on interest on the debt. Makes me sick.

I thought 25% of the federal “workers” said that they were going to quit and move to Canada if Trump got elected. Trump shouldn’t have to fire anybody.

I think I heard somewhere that Canada will not accept people who are useless to come in through their immigration system.

Pull a Ronald Reagan, and fire them just like he did the air traffic controllers. No fear. Just do it. If the the government unions protest...fire ALL OF THEM. THey have no idea what the rest of the nation went through in the last two decades of re-sizings, layoffs, etc...
